Originally when Project Cars was released it was unplayable with a Controller. Since release the developers worked hard to patch it. But you have still got to set up some settings;

In the controller settings menu;

|•Mode 3 |• Feedback = 80 |•Steering Deadzone = 10 (or lower. Adjust to your liking!) |•Steering Sensitivity = 0

LEAVE THE OTHERS AS THEY ARE

Edit: Oh I see, US, weird. I don't know why US isn't up yet, it should be. This is the first XB1 game that hasn't dropped to free at midnight GMT, and it was free for some regions like AUS earlier. Something weird is going on with it.

Really weird, this is the first XB1 GwG to act up with going free.

I'll keep checking and repost when it goes free in US.. Shouldn't be much longer now I would assume.. It went free in the UK so I figured it was everywhere as it usually is, I hope they haven't changed it to midnight local timezone..that would suck , but it's the only thing I can think of since it was up for Australia hours ago.

When did you try it? The most recent version is massively improved from the trash heap it was when it launched.

I tried the open beta just before launch and hated it, because it was nothing but running the whole match. I'll download it and try it again, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Supposedly they made some great changes on the PC version when they made it free to play. Did any of that get patched into the console versions?

My time is more valuable than anything else and I'm not going to waste it on last generation games that got vastly improved in a current generation port.
