Very happy with the Switch so far. Massive improvement from the Switch. I'm not blown away by the graphics but they still look good for a portable and the Switch itself feels like a quality product.

The Pro Controller is nice albeit doesn't really feel like a $70 controller. I guess it's the internals that count. It's very close to the Wii U Pro Controller to me but edges it out just so slightly.

I guess my only real complaint is the dock could have been better. I'm afraid it will scratch the screen eventually and it feels very finicky. I just want to charge the system and it keeps powering on and trying to turn my TV on if you slightly bump it. Also, no charging LED? Come on Nintendo.

Pro Controller is great. A little on the thick side in the center, but it feels great and I really like it a lot. My favorite controller is the Elite Xbox One controller followed by the regular Xbox One controllers and this is very close to those and is just great.

I have not used the Switch as a portable other than the initial set up. I had ZERO issues connecting to my Wifi and no issues attaching or removing the Joy Cons from the tablet. Everything just worked great and smooth. I was able to download the day 1 system patch in about 1 minute or so, it was really fast. I have not used the Joy Cons themselves too much other than when I was using them after I had the tablet plugged to the TV and going through the set up, but then switched to the Pro Controller and attached the Joy Cons to charge.

UI is not bad, but WTF....WHY IS IT IN 720p??? I am literally shocked that they did this. Even my wife was saying "why does it not look a little clearer like the Xbox One or the PS4 Pro UI's? I really hope they patch this because it does not look that great. The UI itself is fine, navigation seems to be fine and overall layout is not too bad, basic typical Nintendo UI, but they have to get it to 1080p because there is no reason that it should be at 720p.

I have yet to play a game, about to launch Zelda and as it was downloading the patch I decided to make a quick post. Overall, outside of the 720p resolution, it seems like a solid piece of tech and very impressed with how well and smoothly things have gone so far.

Question: With Snipperclips game, can you use a pro controller and the joy cons in the controller holder to play or must you use the joy cons on their own? My wife wants to get the game and just curious if we can use the assembled controller and the Pro to play the game?

is the adhesive issue also going to affect screen protectors? I assume yes, but people care less because they don't plan on removing them once applied?

Haven't called gamestop yet, but how is stock doing? YMMV duly noted, of course.

I agree with everything you're saying here. I actually might return my pro controller. I just don't see myself using the switch docked on my TV much at all. And when I do, I'll just use joy cons.

The dock...Yeah I wish it felt more solid. Wish the fit of the switch was more snug with less wiggle. Lastly, I wish the screen side of the dock had a nice micro fiber material. Worried about it scratching the screen as is.

Does anyone else's left joy-con have a looser attachment to the system than the right one? My left joy-con has a little bit of jiggle to it, but the right one is locked completely solidly unmovable.

The controller is destroying my hands. I was playing Zelda for two hours and I had to stop to take a break from how badly my hands were cramped. It got to the point where I wasn't enjoying the game. I tried using both the grip and the separate setup but the joy cons are just so damn small.

I'm gonna keep trying to see if I can get used to them, but I will really hate it if I feel forced to buy a pro controller.

You can set it to remember your password, I don't remember exactly how (I think I was presented with the option at some point?). It's definitely in there though.

You can also set the system to remember your user profile so you don't have to select yourself every time you start a game/app.

I really like the Pro Controller (especially compared to the grip!) but I wish it had an headphone jack like the XB1/PS4 controllers. Not having any way to get headphone audio while playing in TV mode is a bit of a bummer.

The joycons just aren't comfortable to me. I don't have big hands either but there just doesn't seem to be a good way to hold them. They didn't mold to your hand like the Wiimote and Nunchuck did perfectly. For me, the best way to play so far is in portable mode with them attached to the system. Once I got tired of holding the tablet, I switch to table top mode with the Pro Controller. I thought the grip was actually pretty decent but it's pointless once/if you have the Pro.

What wireless routers do you guys have that aren't having issues connecting to wifi?

Looks like I need a new one despite not having an issue with any other console unless I'm missing something.

I'm getting no sound when my switch is docked.

I've tried switching around audio inputs/outputs and nothing seems to be working. The sound is fine when undocked.

Anyone having the same issue?

I dug out my old Wii U ethernet USB adapter and have had very good download speeds - at least all things considered. I download 1 GB (Snipperclips) in about 5 minutes or less. Haven't tried wireless yet.

My daughters is the opposite, her right has a very very very slight wiggle, the left is snug as a bug.

I def got some once, but I walk around on a pretty heavy carpet.

I was scared for a second that I damaged the system...I actually saw a mini lightning bolt spark.

I have a wndr4500. Works fine but I can only connect to the 2.4ghz network.

I love the joy cons. I have a pro controller but I find myself playing Zelda with just the Joycon separate in each hand. Love that I can aim the bow with my right hand alone.

I'm having the same problem. I've tried everything I can think of like going through all the settings, switching hdmi cables, changing inputs on my tv, completely unplugging everything. I even tried re-initializing the system and nothing works.

Not sure what else I can do at this point other than exchanging it.

:( Ugh, I definitely don't want to return it.

It seems like 1 other person has asked on the Nintendo forums - I wonder if this is a widespread issue.

The tv power is a setting in the tv menu. Forgot the exact name

Bomberman is actually a lot of fun for couch co-op. I can't say it's worth the price, but I'll be playing a bunch of it.

Going from docked to portable and back is so seamless. It really is something playing this thing on your bed or somewhere else. Looks fantastic.

Yeah I dont know if I'm just stupid but I always have to hold the Switch itself when removing or adding.

Its so satisfying though. Dat click.

Do I have a defective Switch Pro Controller - the bottom Dpad makes a VERY noisy click sound when pressed but the other 3 directions don't make that kind of noise (although up is noisier than the left and right)?? What sucks is it will probably be OOS at Best Buy when I need to return it.

Like seriously I'm getting shocked every time I touch the dock or when I touch the joycons to the tablet when sliding them back onto the tablet while docked lol

Disconnecting controllers, scratched screens and the best game has frame rate problems and is also available on Wii U. Makes me feel better about holding off but I'm also concerned what impact those first two things will have on the long term future of the system.

That all said I still wish I had one today and I hope everyone is enjoying it.

Ok...

I switched from audio source from TV (which has sound), then back to HDMI with the Switch and sound started working.

Loving Zelda, loving the Switch hybrid concept and hardware but...

Is it me or the OS sucks?

It lacks that Nintendo flavor and instead looks and feels like almost Android.
