I never liked hard tacos but after being in Mexico various times. I will never ever look back.
Im okay with them inside a soft shell taco tbh. They work that way but by themselves they are potential messes.

My 1070 still holding in there! I'll be sad when it's no longer put into these comparisons, lol. Any idea if this is with HairWorks on? It seems that it's a major framerate killer, and I think it makes the human hair look worse. If I could enable it on just fur, I would. I know there's a mod for that, but I can't be arsed.

I grew up with hard tacos, so I still prefer them. I do enjoy soft ones as well though. And I also grew up in a family with very bland cuisine. Like, "Medium" Tostitos is crazy hot to my parents, lol. I had to sort of inoculate myself to spicy food when I moved out. I'm still not ordering the crazy hot stuff, but I'm a whole lot better than I used to be!
And re: GPUs, yeah, that's the plight of the PC gamer, but it also makes me wonder why some people pay so much for their PC. Like, there's usually a pretty obvious price -> performance part in each category that will max every game for a couple years at least. Why spend double or triple that for performance you literally will not be able to see? By the time that difference will have games that would play better on the expensive machine, GPUs will be a few gens ahead -- and you could just buy another budget/value machine that blows the older, expensive one out of the water now and *still* have spent less.

Sorry if it's been discussed, but did anyone see the recent response article that came up as a reaction to the "epidemic of gay loneliness" piece? I'm on mobile and can't link, but while it had some really solid points, I halfway checked out when it started championing open-relationships and polyamory. Nothing agaisnt them at all, but I really do not understand this attitude that non-monogamy in queer culture is some more enlightened form of love where as gay monogamy defaults into some "lesser" straight basicness.

Yeah I read it. #SlatePitches are a meme for a reason - they love to just be contrarian.
That article seemed to imply that being a monogamous gay is not the correct way to be gay. While I do agree that hetero dating norms could use with loosening up, I also think that gay dating norms could do with a bit more structure.
It also implies that the things mentioned in the original huffpo piece only apply to "A-Gays who get ripped and go to fire island every year", which is silly since none of my gay friends or myself fit that bill.
I do agree that writing on gay culture tends to focus on white people, but that is just American news reporting generally. Even acknowledging that, the issues of lonliness and mental illness caused by childhood trauma cut across racial lines.
The nice thing to do for him is to make clear that you aren't interested.

He may not end up wanting to be friends, but if he does, then you can be certain you're in the clear going forward.

I'm getting excited for Nier (still have week to beat Zelda and I don't think that'll be enough though, I spend so much time dicking around exploring random stuff I see, I almost got nothing done story wise) but I'm kind of scared of feeling horrible crushing guilt while beating up those robots, they look super cute and I'm sure there's going to be a reveal showing you're a horrible monster somewhere along the line.

I like soft tacos fine, really depends on how it's made cause sometimes the shell comes out soggy and I hate that on a soft taco. Hard tacos is much tougher to mess up in that sense.
The GPU is a special case for me because it costs me nothing or a smaller amount of money to upgrade it. For example, I upgraded from a 980 Ti to a 1080 and it literally costed me nothing. In fact, I got money back when making the upgrade.
I'm still on my same motherboard/CPU/RAM that I got in 2014, but I made sure to go for the top end i7 to not have to worry about upgrading for years at least. It has served me well so far.
The wait for the PC version is awful but it will be worth it. Everyone seems to be loving it at the moment in the thread.

Does anyone have any recommendations for LGBTQ-focused and/or LGBTQ-written news sources? Ideally, I'd be looking for semi-serious sites (or individual journalists) that are light on fluff pieces and hyperbole and operate with high integrity, but other stuff is okay, too, if you trust them.

I used to follow HuffPo QV but their style kind of shifted and they lost me. I was looking at Pink News last night and they looked promising, so I'm glad to see you recommend them. I'm unfamiliar with gaystarnews, so I'll check them out. Thanks!

Pre-Order bonuses are never worth it. They're always greedy money grabs that jack the price up to levels that the bonuses alone wouldn't be worth if you sold them separately.
I also lost interest in queer voices as well (Huffpost), I used to read them constantly but not anymore. They do have some great pieces from time to time. Gaystarnews has had a constant flow of really interesting articles worth checking out.

edit: Holy shit. Reading the comments on the youtube video for it and apparently the lead singer of the divinyls died back on 2013 of Breast Cancer and MS.
