Got kicked by a POTD group in floor 51, with everyone in Kinna weapons, for clearing to the activated teleport beacon instead of going after a gold chest. Didn't bitch, didn't moan, just killed my way to the teleporter. I guess that's a thing now. Needing gold chests for a milk run.
But then I joined a 50 roulette and ran into a group of 3 friends who were doing the dungeon for the first time and apologised up front about not knowing things. Most civil motherfuckers I have ever met. We had a great time.

So me and my two friends are finally gonna server transfer from ultros to an eu one so we can find people playing our times more and was wondering a few things:
Was thinking of going to Phoenix, heard it's a good community. What time does the server usually open up and does server transfer bypass the restriction?
Also, what's the best way to transfer your gil? Got about 20 mil I'm looking to transfer.

Mnk is still the most fun dps class in the game. I hope to get mine geared when savage locks are out because right now I'm not bothering with gearing subs much unless I get a lucky drop.

Pretty shit game design that i absolutely need Provoke as a tank but the game does not give it to my class...
I've done nearly all the hard bosses etc and only ran into the issue of not having it on mog king extreme..
One guy chewded me out for it and im like dude first play through and I'm 52, Jesus gimme a break.
Guess i get to grind out 7 levels on my 15 gld then.

Server transfer's unrestricted by if it's full or not, since the reason why character creation gets locked is different. It goes off by people logged into the server, and since character creation ends with you getting dropped into the server immediately... you can't make a character if the server is at capacity.
Don't know anything about transferring gil, I always see allagan pieces of gil being tossed around as a method to do so though.
I love shoulder tackling during the tilt in Sophia EX. It's like naw fuck yo mechanics

It's so good that I actually get disappointed when he boots someone else instead of me.

That and Swiftcast, I imagine. I've got WHM at 54 and still don't have it, and have no interest in playing THM (at least right now).
Same here. I've pretty much put off leveling my SCH until after SB so I don't have to bother with that.
My alt was designed to be a healer alt only until i realized i needed swiftcast. Then it became a tank alt instead. Way easier.

I honestly thought Summoner was a little lame in 2.0. All they really had was DoTs + Fester and the Egi ults weren't as spectacular as I wanted them to be. But all of their Heavensward additions are excellent imo.

Activating Dreadwyrm Trance is just like the "limiters released/increasing reactor output to 120%" stuff like in SRW games. Feels good to be able to spam Ruin 3 without worrying about mana then ending with Deathflare.
If there's one thing I'd change is to make it so that when you enter DWT you float off the ground and let go of your book which floats around you. I noticed Blood of the Dragon has a constant visual effect so I think DWT should have one too although my suggestion might be too much animation work.
So good.
They can make it even better in Stormblood by giving Summoner's the True Deathflare trait that lets them use it 6 times in a row like Bahamut.

So I couldn't remember my password for whatever reason, so I reset it.
Enter new password and it says that it's wrong. I try it a few more times, it says its wrong.
I change it again. This happens again.
I change it again, but this time enter the same password I have in the new password field just to see if it went through and sure enough it says I can't enter the current password for my new password. So I go and try it AGAIN. It keeps saying it's the wrong password.
I go and wait 3 hours, and it STILL says I have the wrong password.
What the absolute fuck, I can't tell if it takes a stupid long time to adjust the password or if Square Enix servers are absolute shit.

Do you use an OTP token / is there space for one in the password form you're using?
Nah I've never used the one time password. That's definitely not it.

I mean it's cool and i loved it in 11. Just kinda bizzare that all tank classes don't have a version of provoke.

Same with Swiftcast. It's nuts that every healer job doesn't have it as base.
Once you run with it, you never go back.
Before you do anything, make an alt on whichever server you want to move to and check out the market board. Look for what sells regularly and for consistent amounts, because the idea is to buy those items on your home server, stash them on your retainers then sell them on the new server. When I transferred to Cerberus I bought some expensive housing items (I think it was one of those fluffy trees) because they sold like crazy. Some minions are expensive but popular and sell well, so those might be an idea. Popular glamour items are a possibility. Avoid any items where there have only been like 5 of them sold in months.
Another option might be to buy the allagan gold/platinum/whatever pieces on the MB, the kind you always get from retainers, because they're often sold for the same price. Then you can just sell those directly to a vendor NPC for the same cost. I think you can take a maximum of 5mil on you, plus each retainer can take 100k I think. If you're a crafter I suppose you could buy up lots of mats and then once you've moved craft stuff that sells well.
When it first came out it was common for grouos to wipe. Between dodging the rockets and the ground fire lots of people messed up. That being said you wouldn't even know those mechanics existed these days lol.
It's so relaxing. I've quit raiding and I'm just going to gather/craft until SB.

It's impossible to wipe there since... maybe like 2.0 I guess. I started playing a month before HW so I've never ever wiped there. But it was possible to wipe there before 2.0 apparently. It is the best when you get it on trial roulette. Tomes with the most minimal effort, Haha.

Honestly, most of the stuff in the trial roulette is beyond easy and there's really no reason to wipe on it. The duty finder continues to find interesting ways to do so anyway, of course. Who needs Titan Extreme when you have Titan Hard?
Today was good and productive. The Final Coil run with GAF FC was great! Thanks everyone! Really epic stuff. Wasn't expecting there to be CG scene either. The Turn 13 boss music. OH MY GOD. <3
After that I managed to do Ramuh, a few more MSQs, unlock Crystal Tower, and continue with more Hildlibrand stuff. The 2.3 MSQ are getting way better post Ramuh. Tataru's mining adventure was the bessssssst. <3 <3 <3

Enjoy 2.4 and 2.5, that's when the MSQ started to get good.
