Got Y'shtola on a pull. Total points 647,001, so that'd be 647 summons. Now I just need cactuar dunes to come around so I can level her, and then I might be able to beat ELT.

My wife pulled her as well today at around 600k points doing pro, so once she gets leveled up this weekend she should be good to go for the Gilgamesh trial (doesn't have dual cast).

No such thing as charity case here. We help all!

Right now I've got a Yun up as my lead. Dual Wielding and built for the Beast Killer. Nothing special as others have better Yun's than I do. But I like to think maybe he does something useful for someone. He's at 537 atk at the moment.

Generally Luneth is my lead

I can't help but think about how if I pull Orlandeau I'm essentially getting two 5* units for the "price" of one, since his TM makes Randi into something of a monster, relative to other units I possess.

You'd think it would be easier to stick to one's own advice...

I know it's a stupid idea but I'm not going to pretend I won't spend basically everything I have trying to get him. I've got enough resources that it's basically a coin flip if I get him or not.

I reached the 1.1m mark and I still haven't gotten her from the pulls. Nice to know 5* rates are horrendous even with "free" units.

Been the only blue I'm missing for a couple months now after I finally got Zidane.

LOL oh god. That is awful. I swear he's gotta be one of the hardest blues to get. Srsly. This is crap.

Man, everytime I get somewhere in BotW, something else scares the bejeezus out of me. Or stresses me out. This game is awesome but is going to kill me at the same time.

1) Carefully check the top of your head for a blowhole.
2) Carefully check the bottom of your torso for a tail fin.

If you do not possess either of these distinctive features, consider limiting your expenditure to 7 dailies and a pittance of tickets on day 1 to get your Mog King currency rolling.

Iam in the late (was busy yesterday evening). But basically my strategy is same as in every King Mog event:

- Pull the resources you get from event (11 tix) and some random tix
- Pull dailies for some days

And thats it. I like to do it so, it doesn't matter what banner it is or how sucky cause its resources I get from event.

Tossed FR. I usually use some random leader (a.k.a. roided Ace), if there is no event that needs special builded unit. Now Iam sharing Noctis as most of us.

I'm gonna do my best to avoid any non-daily pulls for Orlandu.

My strategy right now is to keep enough resources to guarantee getting Tilith and Rikku when they come around. After that I'll chase 5*s.

I think I've done almost 15 pulls during the players choice banner and haven't gotten one single banner unit yet. I would really like another Zidane......

Depends on your setup and other Tm's, Greg, Luneth, Lightning can all make use of it, couple BM on all 3, and hit up a sword/katana combo~

Looking at the stats, look like it's similar to a +30% atk materia minus stack-ability with another dks?

Increase ATK (30%) when equipped with a sword and (20%) when equipped with a heavy armor
Wait, so damage can go up to +50%?

Yes, that's why it's so good on Luneth and Greg, both who can wear heavy armor and get bonuses with normal swords.

I hate Lings that won't die the most. Always run into them when I'm in a rush to get through my Arena Pbs, either trying to get somewhere or about to go to sleep, and the rounds will go on forever.

I broke the rule this month :( not happy, but now I realised how screwed up the rates have gotten, it's put me off doing multiple 11 pulls now. Shame really, as it was so different in the past.

I've found a nice small chain (7 hits) with Gilgamesh, noctis and olive. Olive can double her DMG with it on ifrit ELT. Mine hits for 400k DMG instead of 200k. If I knew how I'd make a video but it's using warp break from noctis and triple slash from Gilgamesh and end it with olive.

Gotta time it with firing olive and as soon as she gets her canon up you press attack on noctis and then Gilgamesh.

Adding another unit like chizuru would boost this tremendously but I can't substitute refia, wol or Cecil for it.

I'll test it out on another fight.

I remember spending around 30-35 pull for Shine and still didn't have her until now.

That's why i will conserve my lapis. Doesn't want to be the only one who don't have Tilith or Rikku.

I've been practicing this with friend Olive's in PRO where my party is

- Noc1 Warp Break
- Noc2 Warp Break
- Lightning Crushing Blow
- Gilgy (backrow) Tri-Attack
- Edgar (backrow, leeching level exp now at 47) Auto Bowgun (since Chain Saw is higher level)

When Olive use True Shot and few seconds later Olive flashes I hit auto. It gives nice chain to TShot. Obviously this will be better method when my Edgar gets Chain Saw.

I did get 3 Shines (as my only Gold pulls from that banner) which is great.
But I missed Ling, making over 30 pulls in that banner :(.

Shine = Always in gacha
Ling = Exclusive banner unit, not in gacha anymore

Yes. The time will come when Maxwell gets 6*. In that Banner there will be again 3 base 4* units

tried battling Gilgamesh again... I get down to below 50 and he just goes all out on my team:

I need this 30 attack damnit!

what would make this fight easier ? any sort of TM or Gear?

At one point at around 55-60 % he debuffed my team, how to get that DEF/ATK debuff off my units?
I tried Cecils limit, Noctis limit, Rains leadership. the debuff still was there

A trade in program for 100% TM maxed units can't come soon enough. It seems like it is about 1/3rd of my slots at this point

Gilgamesh Thresholds: 80% / 50% / 30%. Try to have Golem esper up and if needed (hp is low) defend with some units. Normally casting Golem Esper, defend is not needed tho.

Remeber to cast "Dispel" on next turn after those Thresholds.

Great then, I didn't chase her the first time since I had gotten refia and had used a good chunk of my tickets.

But three base 4*? That kind of sucks...

Does backrow just mean you're using those skills after the first three? Didn't realise the positioning of your units has any effect in battle :/

I got annoyed and just ended up selling them :( thought I'd have no use for the 100% ones, especially as I have dupes.

Yeah I've been meaning to level my two edgars and a second chizuru but I keep putting it off. This weekend I need to use the dunes for ling, minfilia and Marie.

yeah i could level more units but im burning up 6 star mats and sacred crystals

this mog king event could be a blessing if im able to build an efficient team for it

Timing of attacks. Not sure how much later backrow attacks vs front row.
In this PRO case I attack with friend Olive and after that flash just hit auto. Seems to work nicely. Edgars Auto Bowgun has fast animation.
