Oh damn, that's right, Boxboy's this week. Still kind of bummed the amiibo isn't coming over, nor that physical collection, but considering how late it is in the 3DS' life span, I'm sure it probably wasn't worth the time/money/effort.

I might have to bust out my 3DS again sooner than I expected for Boxboy. I played the second one last month and fuggin adored it.

Was it announced for NA yet?

Question for the thread:

Would the Switch be capable of handling 3DS Virtual Console? I've heard mixed things about whether that would be feasible.

(Right now I'm looking for if they could, not if they should)

It seems relatively likely. The biggest obstacle will likely be the exotic GPU. The rest of the system is pretty straightforward.

Does anyone know at what time Amazon.de usually get download codes? I would like to buy BYE-BYE BOXBOY! through them as I got some free credit.

Played puyo/tetris from JP eshop as a demo. I am super good at Puyo but Tetris is where fails me. Game is so addicting but I think I'll wait for US version so it is easier to explain to everyone who plays with me.

Though the voices might be fun.

Anyone played Othello? Seeing it on the JP store for a low price has made me interested in the NA version. Does anyone know if it has a tutorial or anything to teach you how to play?

I reviewed it - there's low difficulty CPU options and an option to show what the legal moves are, but no explicit tutorial.

As someone who's been following their progress since the Kickstarter launched, that might be a pretty bold assumption.

They were saying less than 2 weeks ago on Twitter that they were still on schedule for a March release. I'm hoping for tbe best

Damn it, is Box Boy not coming out in the US today? I haven't seen it mentioned on the US Nintendo page.

So how is human ressource machine? I like the idea, but is it fun?

It's great, but as a software developer I found it to be a little bit too easy though.
My only really gripe was loops, counters and comparisons can be a bit fiddly to implement sometimes.
Each task has 2 optimisation challenges, where you have to solve the puzzle in a set number of lines of code or executed lines, I had the most fun doing these.
If you've got no experience programming and enjoy puzzles you're in for a treat.

So unless there's an announcement in the PR, it looks like North America won't get a Wii U VC game this week which would be the first week skipped for at least a new Wii download since September 10, 2015 (79 weeks in a row).

I guess Bye-Bye BoxBoy! is delayed in NA? Or did I dream the March 23rd announcement?

That was just for Europe. It is strangely MIA for NA thus far, though I imagine it to be some kind of "available now" fodder for an upcoming Direct that's specific to NA.

Lots of good indie titles are up for sale in Europe! Too bad I just bought Mutant Mudds and Xeodrifter a few weeks ago. Might buy Crimson Shroud, Picross e7, and Steamworld Heist though.

Capcom sale too.

But now it's time for Boxboy.

Nah, they definitely announced it for March 23rd in North America, but it's been stealth-delayed and everything related to it (gamepage, tweet, trailer) deleted.

http://kotaku.com/1793122122

Looks like an error on Kotaku's side.

Is the EU PR getting later little by little?

I want to see what this indie and Capcom sale stuff is about!

Capcom: The typical discounts - Ace Attorney, Mega Man Collection, Residen Evil (same discounts as always)
Nindies: look here - http://www.nintendo.de/News/2017/Ma...otsaktion-Nindies-Feier-Angebote-1208984.html

Yeah, I know it's available. But it's still late every week now. The least they could do would be to send it at 10AM in the morning or something. Oh well, not like complaining here will change anything, ha ha.
