Either way, of all the X-Men characters to add as DLC (supposedly), I'm not sure if Sentinel should have top priority. I'd honestly prefer the likes of Nightcrawler, Magik, Cyclops, Psylocke, & the Maximoff Twins (yes, they're Avengers, but their X-Men ties were holding them back from recent games) over Sentinel.

He uses Sentinel for his videos but didn't mention him for DLC. I like your list of X-Men :brofist:

The most perplexing thing to me was releasing Mega Man Legacy collection in 2016, on the game's 29th anniversary year.

We're not in last gen though. Looking at the best selling Fighters now, it's kinda obvious what they need.

Yes you don't have to have SP mode to have a "successful" or fun fighting game. But you're definitely helping yourself get more money by having such as opposed to not having those things.

Sentinel fills a very important niche in these games. A heavy flight character with long limbs and zone control who isn't just a regular looming person or even a mutant/super hero. He's just a robot but that makes him stand out nicely in the roster.

It's very hard to find a replacement for Sentinel. And I am talking about Marvel 2 Sentinel here, not the tincan in 3.

Huitzil/Phobos would be sooooooooo ridiculously perfect for Marvel and I've said for awhile he should be in by now. Sucks theres no assists because Huitzil is a treasure trove for that.

Enjoy some hype webm reminders of just how amazing Huitzil/Phobos is. Character gives no fucks about your lows and is an absolute monster for overhead/left right pressure and his blockstrings are notoriously difficult to stop because so many of his tools are design to force you to block for sooooo many hits that he can setup another left right of some kind. Hell his blockstrings push you into his traps for left right setups!

I'll be very surprised if its this holiday.

I'd be pleasantly surprised, but I think it's possible. That would be a bit over 2 years after development began. Considering that a lot of the concept/design work was done from the start due to it being a remake, I don't think it sounds so crazy. Hell, REmake apparently went from the start of development to release in only 13 months. Though if I had to bet money on it I probably would go with early 2018.

Proxima Midnight is super unlikely despite that. I really like her design though, and bring her up at any opportunity to name a female villain.
