Ask me about the moon landing or the temperature at which jet fuel burns. You may be surprised at what you learn.
EB Games website showing they had Binding of Isaac in stock for Switch. Called 5 locations, not a single one had any.

Just bought 5 of those codes, let's see how it goes...

Which console is that SMB code for, anyway? They don't specify. EDIT: oh I guess 3DS.

Wait, is that legit? What's the catch?

Theres no catch, I bought a few a year or two back. You can even sell the SMB code for a dollar in BST if you dont want it.

I'm trying to buy some of this credit, but it's giving me an error saying I'm not in Canada. I'm definitely in Canada. Is anyone willing to help me out by buying them for me then send the codes to me. I'll gladly PayPal some cash to you first so you won't be spending any money of your own.

Got it all sorted out. I had to manually change my primary shipping address in my account to my Canadian address vs my US postal box. Usually it just gives me a choice, but this time it was blocking me before that step. Just incase anyone else runs into the same problem.

The ratio of 26'ers in here is actually rather interesting, or at least I find it personally interesting because I turned 26, 27 days ago.

Anyone send in their Switch for repairs? My Switch is bent and I need to repair it but since no save transfers, I can't just go to the repair shop and just replace it like what I did with the DS lite

Looking to get back into completing my amiibo collection that I stopped halfway through. Am I SOL with most of them being out of production or what? The last one I bought was Meta Knight, don't have any more from that point onward.

I bought a lot from a combo of people posting in the NeoGAF BST thread as well as importing a bunch from the Aussie website Beat the Bomb. Beyond that you'll be scrounging here and there or using the foreign Amazon websites, because just buying from retail is going to give you a very meager selection.

I don't mind shipping discussion but why the hell do people whine about shipping a week before the game comes out? What do you expect? Why would it have shipped by now?

I imagine because they tend to ship out the friday before so at this point it's only 2 days away from being an issue, and with the track record of amazon over the past month, things don't look good.

well thanks, just went on a binge and bought all the remaining ones from BtB and Amazon (JP versions). That should be good for quite a while.

It's two entire days away and it's an issue...?

I mean in my case they wouldn't ship until Monday anyway but until it's the evening of the day it usually ships, there's literally nothing that could be done to make you feel better then. There's no reason there should be any movement on that order today or yesterday or even tomorrow. They shouldn't even charge your card yet...

or longer
for delivery?

Picture it: Rural Canada, February 1990
"Hey man, Nintendo Power says Super Mario Bros 3 is rad"
"I know, I just ordered it from the Sears Catalog. It cost me $95 and I'll have it in just 6 weeks"
"Awesome!"

Heh, yes, except in my case this was "wait 6 weeks for the video rental store to get 1 copy, then check every Friday to see if it was not already rented"
(it was)
.

Don't know how to beat a particular level/boss? Hightail it to your nearest bookstore and look in an unofficial guide.
