Yeah.
PLAYTONIC KARTINGCONFIRMEDnot-really but maybe
Is it freezing every few seconds for anyone else?
Yep, for me, too. Can't watch it.

Try changing the quality. I went from Auto to High and it fixed the freezing.
A) So is this rap going to be in the game? Is this covered under parody laws to not conflict with the DK rap?
The video simply doesn't load, on mobile or desktop
"Its commitment to nostalgia is both Yooka-Laylees greatest strength and its greatest weakness. The characters are largely annoying and the writing and delivery is almost universally bad, but man, that gameplay is still very special indeed. Having been largely starved of traditional 3D platformers for the past 15 years, this serves as a perfectly timed reminder of why the genre was so popular in the first place. With its fantastic mechanics married to a selection of sprawling words chock full of challenges and a fantastically addictive sense of progression, Yooka-Laylee overcomes its occasional rough edges and lack of polish to deliver the finest 3D platformer this side of Super Mario Galaxy."
Makes me wish they used Unreal Engine 4 instead, but maybe we'd have super buff and gritty Yooka Laylee and Shovel Knight.
One review leaked
Sounds like Banjo all right. So a great 3D platformer but:
- bad writing,
- annoying characters,
- lack of polish of world sign-posting,
- an occasionally stuttering framerate on PS4.
Did anyone else back this via Backerkit? Last update was in February and that was about the Wii U version. Hope it's still on track.
I thought it was cancelled in favor of the Switch?Did anyone else back this via Backerkit? Last update was in February and that was about the Wii U version. Hope it's still on track.

The WiiU version? It was cancelled I'm afraid.

Where have you been? The Wii U version has been cancelled and they offered backers either to refund, changing their choice of platform or upgrading their Wii U choice to the Switch but would have to wait later for it to be release.
You might be late to change your platform choices which in that case you would automatically get the PC version.
Did Banjo Kazooie have bad writing? I played through it recently and didn't really perceive that.
I think he's saying that the last update that he received from Backerkit was about the WiiU version (Likely the cancellation notice? I don't remember when that was) not that he is looking for info about the WiiU version.
Any news on when backers are likely to get their codes? I've got a PS4 version headed my way, it'd be nice to be able to register the code and get to play the Toybox ahead of release.
