WSJ: Mike Flynn Offers to Testify in Exchange for Immunity

Plus he opened the Pandora's Box for non-politican presidents. That only probably forever changed the game
Not really. Reagan was an actor before being a politician. Along with Arnold schwarzenegger and Jesse Ventura.

If actors can become state governors, then it's not really a stretch to think a billionaire could become President.

In other words, those weren't what was presented to Nunes.
Of course they were!
Don't you get it? The entire stupid charade was to help get Trump out of apologizing for his "tapp" tweet so he could say "I feel somewhat vindicated" and had the bonus of blowing up the house committee credibility so it could cancel any public hearings.

You're giving him way too much power. It's really disappointing.

Trump is not stronger than our institutions. The courts have shown this against his EOs. Congress showed it with the AHCA. He cannot dismantle our history nor chart our entire future; he's too weak, too flaccid, too unmotivated.

All Donald Trump is is a sad, puffy little man who's utterly impotent in his role and incapable of doing anything other than running his mouth and running to Florida to hide.

If Barack Obama cannot set a presidential standard with his greatness, you'd better believe that Donald Trump can't affect the office of the presidency at all with his failure.

To be fair, Obama faced massive opposition and disrespect from a large segment of the American populace. On top of him cleaning the messes of the Bush administration, going back a decade and some change. Bush left the Presidency is such a poor position, that not even Obama was able to transform or move the office forward. He merely acted as a somewhat restorative force for the U.S. presidency. Trump is going to leave long-lasting damage on the stability of the U.S. federal government in the global view, and questions about the entire premise of democracy and republicanism.

Schiff repeated the insinuation that what he was shown today may not be what Nunes initially claimed to have. I don't think he would repeat that unless he really believed it to be true.

At the Senate Intel hearing yesterday, (which IMO should have gotten way more attention) they said flat out that a lot of Russian based propaganda and lies were *still* making it to Trump, and he was repeating them in public. I'm wondering if Nunes was duped into presenting Trump with false or misleading Intel that came from Russia through Flynn's old buddy Ezra Cohen-Watnick, (they guy who supposedly gave Nunes the intel) and now they're all trying to dance away from it.

It doesn't matter if the question was asked as he was leaving the room.

It's still fucked up, and everyone's body language including Pence's explains that.

Actually this is strangely out of character. Trump has been pretty consistent about just laying down a nonsensical lie to try and cover things up. Call it fake news or something. Just leaving though? Something got under his skin. Flynn is certainly not nothing to Trump.
Could it be that his lawyers have drummed into him that this is an ongoing investigation and he really, really must not comment any more.

Therefore he fled before his brain got around to engaging his jaw, because that's how he understands restraint.

Abramson is most notable for writing deliberately false articles during the Dem primary and later claiming to be a metatextual poet trying to will something into being.

Americans voted decisively in favor of Hillary though. Trump got elected by an outdated institution.

Well, that's not really fair. Outdated, yes. But they both knew the rules. Trump, as much as I hate to give him credit for anything, campaigned hard in states everyone thought he couldn't win. And Hillary almost ignored those same states, thinking they were in the bag.

If the rules were different (aka straight popular vote) they would've campaigned differently, and probably some people who think their vote doesn't count (in deep red or blue states) may have voted, when now they don't. Who's to say what the result would've been?

Best guess is it would favor the Democrats, but we don't really know. 6 months ago, the Electoral map was never going to allow another Republican president, so they said. :(

Every split second in that gif is gold. May favorite is probably Trump's total FML-look as he steps away from the podium. And lapdog Pence lol

Wilbur Ross sounds like he's on his deathbed.

Michael Flynn Failed to Disclose Payments From Russian Propaganda Network
Former National Security Advisor Mike Flynn initially failed to inform federal ethics officials of payments from a state-sponsored Russian propaganda outfit, according to newly released documents.

Flynn, who left his White House post after less than a month, submitted a financial disclosure form in February that made no mention of a reported $45,000 payment from Russia Today, or RT, for a speech that Flynn gave at the network's 10th anniversary gala.

In an amended disclosure statement filed with the White House counsel's office on Friday, Flynn disclosed receiving more than $5,000 (the threshold for reporting) from RT.

Flynn's initial disclosure, filed on 2-11, didn't include speaking fees totaling more than $150,000 outlined in disclosure filed 3-31

Od course trump would pick someone so shoddy with financial disclosure as his NSA.

Trump picking Flynn is just a coincidence if you ask people who look at all this as nothing.

I honestly read this and thought we'd already heard. He's stupid enough to do it again.

They're publicly distancing themselves from Manafort as well, Spicey said something like "He was with us for a brief amount of time" or something. lol

The big test will be if we (FBI) can prove Trump was aware of the failures of Flynn, or if he found out later and was in with the cover up. If he was never really aware of it then he might be able to get off via ignorance, but at the same time, that is just a sign of how stupid he is.

Though I would bet there is much more to it, since you have Manafort, Stone and his son-on-law in the picture.

There's SO MUCH more to it. The money laundering and data laundering isn't even really being covered by public committee airings and the mainstream media yet; some of this certainly relates to the surveillance details and the Russian control of targeted social media ads and influence of trending 'news' by bot armys. There are so many connections. Russia pwned the internet to influence American primaries and elections and Trumps camp knew about it and worked with them (AND took dirty money for the campaign) and they didn't cover their steps. This is 10x bigger than Watergate and Trump's people are digging themselves even deeper with the coverups EVERY DAY, which means the investigations just get bigger.

This will be daily news for months to years to come and at some point I'll wager it all ends with top Republicans in a private meeting with Trump where they tell him he's either stepping down or walking out in shackles.
