Sepinwall spent 2 episodes pimping it. I assume the charm comes from Hank Azaria though. The new IFC comedy 'Brockmire' is getting great reviews so far. Sepinwall is even comparing it to Catastrophe and Youre the Worst.
Which is weird because I watched the trailer for it the other day and thought it looked awful.
If we say Helix three times in a row will ivy return to us?Helix any good? They added it to my region, I remember you guys mentioning it some time ago.

Helix is worth it for just how ridiculous the second season gets. It got way more weird and interesting but it never really became all that good.Helix any good? They added it to my region, I remember you guys mentioning it some time ago.
So MIPTV is underway and
And don't worry, I know my audience so here it is (I actually had to put in effort this time around to find it):
And before we continue on and I eventually end up being profane, let's take a wholesome Christian break so that God doesn't smite me:
Anyway there wasn't a lot of interesting (or well, more accurately interesting to the people who frequent this thread) key arts but The Terror is looking great:
See I'm looking out for you. What about The White Slave?
Oh good!
I know we've talked about it before, but this is the first original TV programming from them.PureFlix is getting into the game? I do feel that the religious market has been mostly left untapped, so it'll be interesting to see how it does for them. I think Netflix would do well to get into that market, actually.
And Jared Harris is looking very spiffy in that uniform. The key art for The Terror is great!
In fairness it is a TV market and displaying your back catalogue is par for the course, they didn't buy any ad space for it in the trade magazines.at what point will they stop trying to sell the white slave

The Season 7 finale of The Walking Dead certainly wasnt riding on TV easy street on a Sunday that saw the return of WrestleMania, a steady Academy of Country Music Awards on CBS, the season-high-hitting Big Little Lies finale on HBO and the series finale of Black Sails on Starz.
The nearly 90-minute The First Day Of The Rest of Your Life episode of The Walking Dead on April 2 snagged 11.3 million total viewers and 7.1 million among adults 18-49 for a 5.9 rating. While up 7% in total audience over its March 26 show and rising 10% in the key demo, the finale directed by executive Greg Nicotero dropped 20% in viewers and 14% in 18-49s from the Season 6 finale of April 3, 2016 which saw double-digit declines from TWDs all-time finale high of Season 5.
With all that competition Sunday night, the Live+3 results for AMCs zombie apocalypse blockbuster might tell us the real reach of the April 2 season ender for the show based on Robert Kirkmans comics. AMC should hope so: The Season 7 viewership and demo results are the third lowest in the shows history behind the 5.97 million of the short Season 1 in 2010 and the 8.99 million of Season 2s March 18, 2012 finale. Demo-wise, Sundays TWD is the third worst rating the show has seen, with the 3.0 and the 4.7 for the Seasons 1 & 2 enders delivering lower ratings.
Last year in L+3, the finale grew 30% viewership and 32% in the demo over L+SD.
Already renewed for a Season 8 thats expected to debut this fall, dont get too down in the end-of-civilization dumps for TWD. The show is still easily this seasons top-rated series on TV, both broadcast and cable, with a massive edge on the likes of The Big Bang Theory, Empire and breakout newbie This Is Us.
Not a good Monday
Not a good monday at all
I guess NCAA finals will do that
The clock is about to run out for 24: Redemption.
Another revival starts tonight...Prison Break! Any predictions?
I'm gonna say:
Prison Break - 1.2
I'm skeptical that many people actually care that it's coming back. But who knows.

But its dense mythology, solid +30%+ L3 DVR gains and steady viewership, an indication that the show has built a small but devoted fan base, made Falling Water a solid binge prospect for a streaming service
What channel is Prison Break airing on? Fox?
I think you going to see this more and more often. Networks selling they have dedicated audiences instead of big ones.
The walking dead fandom has been fascinating this year, i think there has been a noticeable change since the Dumpster incident.
A particularly egregious death fake out in the show.Whats the dumpster incident?
Whats the dumpster incident?
Unless I'm mistaken,a major, well-liked character and also a guy who shot himself fell into a crowd of zombies, and the main character was seen being feasted upon by the horde. Episode ends.
But wait! It wasn't his torso the zombies were eating and he somehow managed to scoot himself to safety under a dumpster and just wait for the horde to get bored and wander off or something.
She really does seem to nail the part.I've been watching this on CBC and it has been really good so far. The actress they got for Anne is perfect, she cracks me up in nearly every scene. Surprisingly funny show too.
Boring trailer, but they're probably trying to sell it to the Hallmark Channel types. I hope it does well. Unless this season collapses into itself like Flesh & Bone did, I'd love to see another season of Anne.

The trailer does make it look like a comfort food type show. But hey, we need those too.
I'm probably going to abandon my irreverence towards the show now, I mean I always thought that it would turn out just fine but the contrast between this and Walley-Beckett's previous work was too amusing. Might even retire the drudge siren.

To be fair, I dropped the show way before that happened and decided to stick to the comics. My post calling it egregious was in regards to what I read about it in the gaf thread at the time, a youtube clip and how it was handled in the marketing (still keep up with news and impressions about the show because those can be pretty entertaining). The blame for the dumpster scene rests squarely with the fans of the show. The way the scene is composed makes it very obvious thatthe other guy fell on top of him. Even the placement of the torso being ripped open makes no sense without Glenn's chest being twice the size as normal.
You don't have to like it. You can think it's cheap and poor storytelling, but it's also just yet another bit of BS the show is built on and not something show-endingly egregious. If you're fine with any of Ninja Zombie deaths over the course of literally every episode of every season, this is not the bridge too far.
There were three full episodes of the show before they went back and resolved that storyline. And they even removed the name of the actor in the opening credits during that time. The blame for the dumpster scene rests squarely with the fans of the show. But sure, the fans are the ones to blame.

Another revival starts tonight...Prison Break! Any predictions?
I'm gonna say:
Prison Break - 1.2
We'll see. Season 1 could end with a zoom in to Anne's nightstand, showing a bottle of medically prescribed heroin. Lol
