April Wrasslin' |OT| 2017 Season Premiere

The rules for the Dragon Gate Dead or Alive 2017 steel cage main event have been announced and are as follows.

-Flags will be placed at the top of the cage at each corner. The Dream Gate title belt will be placed on the center pole.
-Takagi, Kong, Hulk, & Doi must first retrieve a flag. Once they have done so, they will gain Dream Gate challenger status.
-The four challengers can be eliminated via pin or submission at any time during the match. This can occur before they are able to retrieve a challenger flag. An eliminated competitor must leave the cage.
-YAMATO must compete during the entire match, but will not be able to retrieve the title belt until there is only 1 challenger remaining. He can not be eliminated via pin fall or submission at any point during the match.
-The match will progress until YAMATO and 1 challenger remain. The match can then be won by retrieving the Dream Gate title belt to win.
-The final competitor left in the cage will lose their hair or mask.

lol

Not quite 100% Russo, but not that far. At least it's not a reverse battle royal.

Really enjoyed that 4 way match with Perkins, Aries, Mustafa and Jack at 205 live. I'm so sad they don't get to have enough time on the main shows for this kind of showcase, stories are so limited too.

Here's what I think is going to happen. Daniel Bryan and Kurt will announce that AJ has been traded and is going to RAW, then Shane shows up and veto it based on their match at Mania and encounter yesterday.

Naomi sold her hurt leg and took that into account during the match better than Seth Rollins. I wish those two had a singles match at Mania instead of what we got.

Really enjoyable Smackdown apart from keeping the Wyatt v Orton feud that already dropped the ball at Mania and killed its momentum.

Nakamura's and Tye's debut were pretty perfect.

What you arent keen for a House of Horrors match? You werent impressed with the maggots summoned by old carnival magic?

Then Kurt and DBry can have a hold harmless match over who gets him. CALL VINCE.

I want just a black shirt with Shinsuke's name written just how it is on his titantron, is that so much to ask?

I have this one, I'd say it's pretty #safe

Nakamura made his debut on SD? Time to jump back in!

...but wait! A "shakeup?" I may not be back in. I want Nakamura as top face and AJ as top heel.

So they had no idea how to debut Nakamura i see... Just interrupt someone who delivers a promo on someone else for no reason and do nothing.. lol

HOLY CRAP FORTUNE DREAM 4

Suwama & Daisuke Sekimoto vs. Kohei Sato & Shingo Takagi on Fortune Dream 4 holy shit!!!

Shuji Ishikawa & Yoshihiro Takayama vs. James Raideen & Joe Doering on Fortune Dream 4!!!

Go Shiozaki & Takuya Nomura vs. Yuji Okabayashi & Kaito Kiyomiya at Fortune Dream 4!! That's gonna be so good!!

Hiroyo Matsumoto & Konami vs. Meiko Satomura & Mika Shirahime on Fortune Dream 4!!

Laughing at someone posting Nakamura's debut as a thread.

That mainstream appeal though.

Also, I found AJ vs Nakamura at Wrestle Kingdom to be underwhelming. It was a fine match, but from those two guys? I expected something amazing.

Eh, it not mainstream appeal it just the people who watch raw/ Smackdown buy somehow don't post in here.

It was tremendous match but it wasn't even the best match on the show.

I thought it was good. The Miz was making a promo about how the top star was gone and then was interrupted by Nakamerica, which implies he is as big. He's "the replacement".

I liked it.

I just found it funny that the guy who posted that topic didn't even watch wrestling. (Unless he used to post here or something)

maybe, i didn't really listen to all Miz promo but as it was about Cena mainly, i was like "Sooo nakamura wants to defend Cena's honor or something ?"

But the problem is more not having a match on tv. Nor a program (but i guess Miz will feud then..). it's better to have those super big stars debuting directly in a hot program. It kinda sounded like he'll squash people for weeks first.

It definitely wasn't a moty contender but it was still excellent in my eyes. Nak's best match last year since I found it a bit better than his match with Zayn.

Yeah, I liked it better than the Takeover match too. Not saying it was a bad match by any stretch, but was expecting it to be match of the night by far and it didn't (I liked Shibata vs Ishii more than that match)

Real talk, Nakamura's mannerism is a big turn off for me. I like the matches I've seen, but it's too much anime for me and I'm afraid might be for others, which would prevent him from being on the top eventually.

I don't see him anywhere else other than the mid card. I hope that's not the case, as it would be great to have a character that is completely different from any other as a world champion.

Ryback posted about how Kevin Owens should work out to be better conditioned in the ring.

Can he just shut the fuck up honestly -__- He's not 5% of the wrestler Owens is for Christ sake..

Yes, too anime. During his entrance all I can think of is JoJo, and to me that doesn't work in real life. Something a bit tonned down works great though, so a little bit less winks and cool guy pointing poses would do it for me.

Maybe it's animes that are too nakamura!

Tommy End/Aleister Black's NXT theme is straight up hardcore and it fucking rules. I knew the music sounded super familiar and it's because it's Incendiary.

What's wrong with posing like a JoJo character?!

he just said whats wrong, its too anime.

I mean, he's a crazy person and I want to slap him with a flip flop, but his reasoning is quite clear.

The overly long introduction by Jojo before the tag team championship match on RAW was kinda unnecessary. Not sure I see the point.
