Get Together is often overlooked in Madonna's discog but honestly it's Confession's finest moment.

I can't see any of the current girls doing that.

after speaking to my friend about the cure

i think both of us are kind of just done with gaga. we've been there since the beginning but we're both just like "eh" at this point.

the cure confirms gaga's trajectory; she's no longer interested in trailblazing, she's content instead to (poorly) chase whatever is currently trending.

the fame brought dance back to top 40, born this way was ahead of the curve sonically serving 80s 3 years before that trend hit top 40, but then artpop came along which was obviously trying to go for the edm trend of 2012 but completely missed that window and ended up releasing close to 2014 by which time people had moved on. and now we have joanne and the cure, incredibly safe, trying to emulate whatever is currently popular be it "real music" and now the flop smokers.

It's ok dude. Sometimes you outgrow your faves. It happened with me with Coldplay and Britney.

I can assure you that you'll find better music and think "what the fuck was I listening before this?". Part of growing up, I think.

yeah, definitely. like a couple years ago when i joined this comm i basically only listened to gaga and being here my musical tastes have changed and grown in a really healthy way, like my library is just so full of music now and i love it. :)

The new Gaga song is alright. But the problem is that it doesn't sound like a Gaga song. It sounds like a "any other basic pop gurl can sing it" song.

I feel like with the Joanne era she has started to lose her identity as 'Gaga' and went more towards the 'Lady'.

But her Coachella performance was like a little monster's wet dream

Take away that tropical house beat and it does sound like one of those pre-Fame era demos, but I'm too distracted by this island monster coo-ing that's in Every. Single. Song.
