True true. MHA's cast is just the best. It doesn't have a single bad character.

Finished. Finally. Now I can watch anime again. Are there even more tigers in Tiger Mask now?

9/10 great game but losses steam towards the end.

Gundam IBO 45-47

This is pretty stupid. McGillis having no backup plan or counter strategies is pretty lame and it's kind of shocking that a man planning this for years didn't consider backup plans or setbacks. I can't believe he was banking almost entirely on that mech to do all the work and that people would just side with him. How the fuck did you not shore up your alliances with organizations like the Mars Fleet way in advance? How fucking stupid is McGillis? It feels like he got hit with the idiot stick. It doesn't even feel like Rustal is outsmarting the characters but rather the protagonists have to lose because that's the part of the plot we're at.

Not to mention how does wiping your ID records suddenly mean you're free? This entire plan by Tekkadan doesn't make a fucking lick of sense. This is like a bank robber wiping his social security number and thinking he won't be hunted by the government anymore.

GAD GUARD

OK at first I wasn't too sure about this, while it was by no means bad the episodes themselves were pretty inconsistent. Characters acting stupid, quick cuts between scenes that were pretty bad and weird time jumps. But I got to say those last 6 episodes were just amazing. The way they handled the climax of the show wasn't really what I expecting. The idea that they inserted the Dad in the story didn't jive with me to much initially, but the way they used him to tie the Gad universe together was pretty slick. Also Bob was a cool guy.

The story/characters are ,like I said, a little jumby jumbo from like 5 to 20, with 14( the snow town episode) being the exception. Characters made some cringy decisions, characters appeared only to never pop again and the way episodes were set up was kind of hectic. they jumped a lot. The Gad's principal of responding to a person's greed/desires was pretty cool. The desire to fly, to rule, to see someone your missing and to unite. The way each character identified with their desire made for some nice development(except for Takumi which I thought they messed up) Katana was probably my favourite. The way he started and ended, while not looking on the surface that different was pretty nice.

The animation/art-style were both pretty on point, but they were iffy spots of character animation at some points. The Old city/1930~40 style was very cool. I loved the hero costumes of our main crew a bunch.

The OST had JAZZ, so it was very hot.

Last but not least I can't just not talk about the GADS. The gads(robot) battle were all super hot. When you have robots named Lighting, Thunderbolt, Zero, Hayate and Messerschmidt, you just know they have to have badass designs! AND they did! Lighting and Zero being the best of course. And the show knows to show how cool they are.

Overall I liked it, but it was really saved by that ending. I really liked it.

I have no idea what you just posted about since whatever image you're using isn't showing up for me. I'm assuming its not MHA though, since you actually critiqued it a bit.

I started watching GranBlue Fantasy: The Animation on Crunchyroll today. So far it really has my interest. It strongly reminds me of old-school RPGs from the SNES era.

Look I'm all for fun episodes, but let's go down the list of issues.

1. Space pirate poachers conveniently show up, for the first time ever, at the time Goku needs to recruit the ONE guy who deals with protecting these animals.

2. They suck up all of the animals through a vent in the middle. And when it closes up mere moments later we have two issues.
2a. Goku states they need to transport inside quickly, as if it goes to space it'll be too late. What rule of instant teletransportation is that? We've seen him travel across the whole fucking universe. We've seen it done throughout earth. We've seen him do it from earth to fucking heaven. Why is the arbitrary distance of earth atmosphere, probably somewhere fairly high up already close to space, to space going to do a difference? Am I forgetting something crucial? Also who is he pinpointing to? Do the animals have power levels? Not only that he leaves the spaceship and later comes back, what's with this space rule.
2b. When they arrive they presumably come up through the same room all of the animals were sucked up in, considering there was a circular shaped hole in the middle. Wasn't this mere seconds later and not only are none of the animals there but there are animals nearby in neat cages and shit. If this isn't the room the animals were sucked up in, then why did he transport here when it'd be a group of living beings he hadn't even met previously. Nor any bad guys.

3. Fucking space pirate blubber nuggets says it's the legendary minotaurus. Didn't these guys only recently become endangered? Or am I misunderstanding this? I thought they had gone extinct at some point near 17 becoming a ranger. If these are so legendary why are these the first space poachers he sees? If not, then why does he act so surprised like "A....A SPACESHIP??".

4. My biggest issue is when the space pirate offers him money because the universe runs with money. Look they clearly arent from earth. Is there a universal currency? Doubtful. How would he know what 20 million of his space money would translate to earth money. Maybe he has come here before, but this bothered me.

5. This last one maybe you will forgive me, but they made it seem like space was... well actual space where being in it is deadly. But haven't seen saiyans and frieza's forces in space overlooking planets breathing and talking normally? Do the rules change?

6. Motherfucker Dende was watching the whole time and he knew the biology of the fucking pirate lmao. I don't recall the old piccolo or God from dragon ball being this knowledgeable.

I'm fairly likely just being a nitpicky ass, but this was bothering me throughout the whole episode. Maybe these issues stem from not watching DBZ any time soon.

Ya this is kind of what I like about it too. The cool art direction and character designs don'tt hurt either. After the anime ends I might check out the game, but I dunno if it's particularly accessible to new players or not.

Samurai Jack Season 5 E6

I liked it. But definitely the weakest episode in structure so far. It felt like they had to combine a standard 'recap' episode with an actual episode to the point neither was done fairly effectively. The recap side was awkward because it involved quick flashes with a few words, and the actual plot side seemed to span multiple days but the plot felt awkward as it didn't really have a proper direction and made it seem all of these places and locations were interconnected in a neat path
leading to Jack

As to the samurai rider looks like I was
wrong
in what he was but not entirely I guess.
He wasn't an inner mental image representing his inner turmoil and desire for suicide, but nevertheless he was a ghost others that others could see. But his whole purpose was still to make Jack kill himself, so I was wrong in that regard
.

Now let us talk about Ashi. This episode isn't going to do the anti-shippers any favors in the sole sense that
they have her scrub her whole body, have a sexy bath scene, and switch outfits and hairstyles to this skimpy woodland elf outfit
.

And Jack's reaction
is a bit awkward but at least you could see it as him being friendly
. This discussion aside this kind of bothered me considering
he was about to kill himself, she says 'oh no the kids are fine' and he does a complete 180 as he cracks jokes. What the fuck
.

Welp done with IBO. I guess Sunrise didn't completely shit the bed for once although I found S2 to be worse than S1.

Good lord at those interviews by Okada and Nagai. You can tell they rewrote the back five but that's not a particularly big deal. It's hilarious though that it wasn't Okada who wanted max suffering but Nagai.

Fantastic episode. Who knew Ursula could be this badass at her age.
On top of that it was a very plot episode as well.
Also it looks like Diana is about to find out Chariot's identity.

Eromanga Sensei 03

While I support mooning people, he gave her too good of a target to shoot at. I also support her belief in doing thing buck naked. Can't beat taking a shower and not bothering to toss on any clothes while you read a good book.

Sin: nanatsu no taizai 02

Are you truly immortal if the person bestowing it can kill you at any moment they choose to? Oh and this episode had more tits and that was a good thing.

Best buddies Okada and Tanahashi? Sorry but even in anime that's weird as fuck. Lol that they have to make Naito look like the coolest guy in the world too (which he is).
Great episode though. Heel Tiger is so fucking evil.

Don't enter in the AoT OT thread, there are spoilers put by some junior. Duckroll, if you can edit his post...

lol I think he's only watched the anime and put 2+2 together about some things in his speculation. MPR predicted people would do just this over speculation and inadvertently confirm the information with the spoiler meltdowns.

AoT is such a terrible show to have speculation discussions. You never know who's just posting spoilers in disguise. Even if someone is just genuinely speculating, if it turns out to be true, you just have manga readers practically confirming it.

I think I might just stay out of that thread from now on.

^ basically that

Do the animals have power levels?

Every living being has ki. Back in the Cell Saga, they were unable to sense the androids and due to that thought they were just robots.

5. This last one maybe you will forgive me, but they made it seem like space was... well actual space where being in it is deadly. But haven't seen saiyans and frieza's forces in space overlooking planets breathing and talking normally? Do the rules change?

It's inconsistent, yeah. Toriyama always keeps Saiyans unable to go to space - Vegeta died when Freeza blew up the planet because he can't survive in space, unlike Freeza, rather than due to the explosion. The scene is executed oddly though since they show neither Vegeta nor Freeza afterwards, and it's only Whis talking. Anyway, Toriyama also claims that the Goku vs Beerus battle was just in the upper atmosphere, which is a big lie (and even if it were true it'd be so faint they shouldn't be able to breath there). Toei sometimes shows them in space, but then other times like here follows the whole "they can't survive in space" bit.

6. Motherfucker Dende was watching the whole time and he knew the biology of the fucking pirate lmao. I don't recall the old piccolo or God from dragon ball being this knowledgeable.

Kamisama was shown to be able to watch and hear anything on Earth when concentrating, although I don't think he ever did something as specific as what Dende did here.

Many airing show episodes to catch up to but Persona 5 taking away all time, Spring season was a mistake.

also, WTF that scene from eromanga sensei

I didn't read it as mere speculation (though as this point there are a few clues), he wrote it in fact as if everyone knew about it. It made me think maybe he wanted to write it in the manga thread and by mistake put it there.
