Someone in one of the other threads figured the glasses are partially bullet-proof (ish) so they'll explain it as the shot breaking the glass, driving the glass into the eye, and Harry playing dead until the coast was clear.

Probably be like, a single flashback that riffs off Superman Returns (you know the shot) and that'll be that.

I was expecting it to show him reacting to the shot in time to turn his head and the bullet grazing him across the side of his face as he fell down to play dead. Maybe the glass going into his eye to necessitate the eye patch now.

Trailer was ok but it makes it seem like they are sidelining Eggsy in favor of Channing Tatum's character, especially since he gets the "and" credit in the cast list.

its common to do that with character opposite of the main character whether it's an antagonist or friendly rival. More commonly when it's reserved for big name billing other than the main character.
