Well, blew about 70 orbs for Titania, ended up with Soren and a bunch of skill inheritance/feather fodder. With 6 orbs left, I think I'm gonna chill for a few days. Maybe save and try again before the banner ends.

Man, I'm still upset. Getting poor IV's on a character you want is such a gut-punch. When I saw Ike, I got excited. Hands trembling, I typed the stats into the IV calculator.
...Of course, -ATK. Of course it would be.
Honestly, it's things like this that make me want to drop the game. The least they could do is have scrolls or something that allows you to re-roll a bad nature. Reset the character to Level 1 if they need to, I don't care.
Normally, in gatcha games, when you pull a nice characters, that's the end of it. In Fire Emblem Heroes, you have three layers of RNG (pulling the character in the first place, getting him/her in the 5* form, and getting a good nature).
There was a game similar to this (Phantom of the Kill) that I dropped for precisely this reason. I stuck around in FE since I love the franchise so much, but if this is how it's going to go every time I pull a character I like, I don't see my interest staying for long. My previously-pulled Bunny Lucina/Bunny Camilla didn't have amazing IV's either. Actually, none of my 5* do, which isn't surprising given my luck.
I guess it could have been worse. I think -SPD is even worse for Ike, since he needs all of the speed he can get.

IV has no place in Gacha games with real money transactions. Hard enough to get lucky and pull something you want but then to have to deal with a shitty version of it is infuriating.

Unless you're a whale, any set of IVs is okay and workable.
And I assume most people aren't whales.
I mean, sure, my Ike is -Atk, but he still has 32+16 Atk at level 40, and that's still more attack than a good chunk of the entire FE cast in Heroes.

Yeah, I've felt this way since release, when I found out how stats were calculated.
I was kind of hoping, by this point in-time, that they would have introduced a new system for correcting a poor nature/IV, either through training in-game or spending of currency (feathers, something else, etc.). I guess they seem content to let people try to pull multiples of the same character, and judging by this thread as well as on Reddit, it seems to be working. It's a damn shame, there's really no reason for IV's like this to exist other than to encourage the spending of more money.
They have enough customization already in-game to separate characters from each other, through seals you can equip as well as inheritance (the latter being a huge game-changer). IV's are just there for greed, nothing more.

No Ike. Not gonna spend orbs until he shows up again. I'll be happy with the freebie GHB dudes and upgrading the stuff I already got.

The desire sensor is everywhere, and is not to be underestimated. You cannot beat it.

Except for the very last one, each gave me either a 5* or a new unit, so it could have been much worse (even though I already have a Lyn+1 and a level 40 4* Tharja, but still good).

Spent over 100 orbs looking for Titania and Ike. Got a Soren and lots of fodder.
Im definitely having flashbacks to looking for rath rubies in the guts of my 70th wyvern in MHTri.
So I'm thinking Life and Death, Threaten Res, and Moonbow on Soren, but what should the Assist be? Or maybe I should do Threaten Speed.
Not sure what to do with Ike though. Should I keep Luna or go Moonbow? I'm thinking Vantage and Threaten Atk as well. What about his Assist though?

Reminder: If you're looking for Ike specifically, don't open orbs of other colours at all, unless you get a run with no reds, then do one and gtfo.

You know, thinking on it a bit more, I think I'm pretty happy with -ATK +RES on my Ike. The way I figure, he still hits pretty hard at max level, even with the -ATK, and +RES will make him more resilient against Mages (of which, there are plenty). The stats look pretty well-rounded, and while more ATK would have been nice, I think building a more bulky (while still powerful) character, with Ragnell for distant counters, could be pretty useful.
(Yes, this is me trying to convince myself that I made a good pull so I don't drown in tears while I sleep tonight.)

While that is the best way to go about it, the odds of pulling him specifically are exceedingly low.
I spent 200+ on blue orbs on that Ninian banner and didn't even get any blue 5* in the process let alone the one I wanted

to be honest +Res is not that bad since you can use Ragnell to your advantage against mage, the -atk sucks tho

-ATK sucks, but it's better than what I got. Titania is crap even with a good nature, and mine is even more worthless.
What pains me is that I didn't even need to pull the green orb. I should have just ignored everything that wasn't red but I didn't even expect to summon at 3.75%. I avoided Colorless at all costs like usual, though.
I'm still really bummed, because Ike is actually good. The last banner was garbage, and I skipped it entirely.
If you are keeping Heavy Blade, you wouldn't want Moonbow.
For Assist, when in doubt, always try Reposition. You can't go wrong with it.

Ideally, -HP/DEF +RES would have been great (if I couldn't get +ATK), but I'm happy enough with +RES since I think I'll enjoy the added bulk. That being said, him having less ATK is disappointing, but I think he can still be a useful unit. I love those counters.

At least I can destroy Ike with Nowi when I encounter him in Arena.

Compared to Ryoma he trades -4 Spd and -3 Res for +1 Atk, +5 Def and +1 HP.
Considering their roles I think Ryoma is a lot better. If you pulled a subpar nature Ike I can attempt to console you with the facts that he is not the best at what he does, and that the upcoming Xander can definitely compete.

Looks to be a similar concept to Jagen. I figured they would make her weak. Compared to Frederick she has -7 HP / -7 Atk / +9 Spd / -11 Def / +16 Res.
I would honestly still rather use a Brave Axe Frederick on my planned Pony Emblem team.
Bottom Line: Pulling anything but red on this banner is not worth it.

Pulled all reds - didn't get the Ike I wanted, but did end up getting Lucina finally. It feels good after I spent 100+ orbs on the Princess banner with no luck getting Lucina. Shame she's out of meta nowadays.
Not sure if I want to spend some cash yet - we'll see what the story orbs give me.
EDIT: Looks like a +spd -res Lucina, is that good? Seems ok.

It's only 30 Orbs, so it could have been much worse if you spent more than triple.
I'm kind of "done" with this game for a while. I just can't get excited anymore for new banners.
It's only the best possible Lucina.
I got a 4* Draug, a 3* Selena, a pull with 3 blues and 2 colorless which got me Gwendolyn, and then 2 Stahls. Good game.

Oh really? Awesome. +spd is good obviously, but I always find it hard to tell what bane suits someone best. Especially in the current arena meta of Reinhardt and Linde being everywhere.

Doesn't really matter on the scale of a single person. The point is, that's how you maxi use the probability of getting Ike. You likely won't get him anyway, but if you're going to try, that's how to go about it.
