Windows Central: This is what Xbox games look like on 'Project Scorpio' (Tech Demos)

While you will undoubtedly need a 4K set to see the true benefits of Project Scorpio, you will get many enhances textures, geometry, and effects on standard HD displays. These images show enhancements Scorpio can make to existing Xbox One titles by virtue of resolution bumps alone, without any additional tweaking and features that utilize Scorpio's monstrous specs.

From "Where are the games?"

to

"What are THESE games?"

Lol

But yeah... cool pics...

Edit: Yo, we should totally start a guessing game for what these games are in the OP.... I'll take the L. Those are just tech demos..?

The ladybug looks nice, but the character looks like something from a TellTale game so not the best example. The environment looked nice though.

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
That's a terrible picture of that lady. Not sure why that's supposed to be impressive.

Edit: Because it's an XB1 1080p picture. Comparisons on the next page look better, I guess.

I am not convinced that Ladybug could not be done on current non Pro Xbox/PS4

And that Lady... zoomed in like that looks bad even in 4K.

I bought a 4K TV a few weeks ago and I've been trying to play some older PC games at 4K just beacuse I can.

Honestly from where I sit (literally from my couch) I can't really tell the difference between 4K and 1080p. It's a bit cleaner in terms of pixel shimmer but outside of that it's pretty meh. It's neat I guess if I'm really close to my TV and it still looks really clean but otherwise it's not much of an improvement.

The woman has an hourglass around her neck, as well as a hourglass design on her dress. She's obviously a scientist, as seen from her tools, but the scene suggests a fantasty steam punk setting. Is that a time machine in the back ?

It's a time machine for sure. I think she unplugged it because you still lighting.

Hey there not-Fable.
Also the images are about IQ, not model/lighting quality and the likes.
Also² the Scorpio ladybug picture looks actually different to me, with different textures/maps and CA enabled as well. Poor comparison.

Think I need to up my reading glasses from 1.5 to 10.

IQ above 1080p is nice for 4K tv's, but the subtle differences in IQ at 1440 or 1800 or 2160 are only really appreciated on a PC monitor and stills.

I never really thought pro was going to much than a cleaner IQ for most games at same frame rate, I am not expecting crazy frame rate PC like performance from Scorpio either

They probably shouldn't have released these to the public. Not especially impressive, are they?

I'm sure there'll be better stuff at E3, but I still question whether the average joe is going to see much of a difference.
