Switch Roof-top Parties: How many have managed to recreate this prestigious event

Saw this and found it pretty hilarious, closest I've seen to this fabled event though it doesn't
seem to be a roof-top. Wonder how many other people have managed to achieve it.

Thanks to Marc^o^ for pointing it out.

We played 6 guys in a circle at the office while we had a power outage, and since our office is on the top floor, I'd say we're pretty close.

Played 2P kickstand MK8D with 4 or 5 different people during beer Friday at work this week. Not on a rooftop though, mind you.

Got invited to hanami (picnic beneath the cherry blossom) about a month ago by two friends, and decided to take the Switch with me. I was a bit nervous about randomly suggesting "hey shall we play a game?", and apparently rightly so because they weren't very enthusiastic at first. We still played a bit of Snipperclips though. Unfortunately one of the two girls was completely lost and didn't understand the game and couldn't figure out the controls (even though we played the tutorial!) so it didn't last very long (also the park was going to close). But hey, we still had some fun!

Later I was in the common room of the uni dorm with a few friends having pizza and some other people came in when I took out the Switch. We played a bit of 1-2-Switch and Snipperclips, but again most people didn't understand/like Snipperclips and we were all too full from pizza to play the more intensive 1-2-Switch games, so we mostly stuck to treasure chest and ball count. That got dull pretty quick.

Wish I could go travel back to those two moments, this time with Mario Kart. That's exactly the game I needed to make people get more into it, I guess.

I had one extremely successful 1-2-Switch party though, but I actually invited people to that so it doesn't really count for this thread :p.

I can't post photos due to company policies, however, during every break I had yesterday, I found at least four people playing Mario Kart with others watching. It was a lot of fun. Reminded me of those Switch commercials.

A Playstation employee likes the Switch? What kind of fuckery is this?

Yoshida probably wanted to join that party

My new job will be on the top floor of an office building and I intend to bring my Switch for lunch breaks, so this might kinda happen with me. :p

I've thrown 3 roof-top parties, 2 in the park, and 1 on an open-top bus which got us kicked off and left in the middle of nowhere.

Luckily we could still play the Switch!

I played Switch with a friend at a cafe in tabletop mode. Granted my friend wanted to see it, so it didn't have the impromptu magic of the fabled rooftop party.

I've played a ton with other switch owners at work, restaurants, houses other than mine, etc but unfortunately I don't have access to many rooftops so I can't say I've truly lived the dream.

My next one is going to be a boat party.

PM if interested.

I just set mine up with a friend at his apartment party (not a roof... although he is on the top floor, if that is closer).

Was successful, Mario Kart 8 herring a big hit.
