Right. I read that his wife ran as a Dem and got a huge campaign contribution from a Clinton ally. I wonder why McCabe threw NY Times accurate reporting under the bus as BS though. Something fishy about that.

I haven't seen much of this new person but her line where she admits that firing Comey was done in hopes of getting rid of the Russian investigation was the best. It's like when that guy told everyone the Benghazi hearings were just so make Hillary lose the election.

Is Sanders really doing any better of a job? People are laughing at her assertion that she's talked to "countless" members of the FBI who were happy about Comey being fired. No one is going to be good in a job where they have to not only lie, but then the person that they're lying for goes out and makes it clear that they're liars like Trump did by saying that he was going to fire Comey no matter what.

I was utterly baffled when I realised that the person who kept on getting linked to was the same Louise Mensch - former MP who wrote for the NME when she was younger about being a super-groupie and offered tips on how to become one, wrote (continues to write?) dreadful romantic fiction, fucked up attacking Piers Morgan (of all people!), bullied the 17-year-old behind the (admittedly ridiculous) "Milifandom" idea, ran interference for Murdoch at the end of the NotW phone hacking investigation etc. etc. (and that's leaving out some of her more unpleasant political views and her record as an MP)
It's bizarre to see how she's managed to carve out a niche for herself with the Trump/Russia stuff.

Yeah. I lived close to the town where she was elected and she sounded like a standard Tory of the time at that point. Now just keeps going nuttier and nuttier for the attention and the money that brings.

It's possible, although I think it's more likely that he's just doing damage control after his threat worked and the WH shifted blame away from him. Either way it doesn't seem like he's going to resign.
