Injustice 2 |OT| Grodd's Among Us

Nice it supports HDR!

The kids have a quick treat before school

OMG, adorable man! (^_____^)

Adopt me! HDR TV's are mega expensive here in Japan.

Speaking of, fluck it, I'm buying the ultimate edition in 30 mins when I get home (DANG BUS RIDE!) Curious to see how many players their will be on this side of the world. But I'm enough of a super hero fanboy to buy it full price.

I love it I'm only playing multiverse and the gear grind is so fun. My Firestorm and Robin look sweet I've gotten a bunch of epics already and a few shaders I got Deathstorm I was excited about that and I got Black Lantern as well.

Dont mean to spam, but since I asked it in the 2nd page and wasnt answered. Im pasting my question again.

"To anyone who played the beta. Is the fighting the same as the first one? Or does it feel more like MKXL?"

The reason is, because as much as I enjoyed the first one. I did not like the controls.

It feels more like the first Injustice than it does like MKX. That said the combo system feels similar enough to the MK system that it shouldn't be completely foreign but the lack of a dedicated block button is undoubtably a bummer. It plays with a light, medium and heavy attack in addition to a unique ability button rather than the MK system of two punch buttons and two kick buttons.

So hows everyone liking the game?

Surprising amount of content, polish, and lack of anti-consumer BS. Was saying this in guild chat but Capcom could learn from this game.

Edit: Just played my first online set against a Robin. Surprising amount of damage that character has but compared to even my noob Superman he can't really compete without knowledge. Was a nice introduction. Nothing worse than getting fucking bodied the first time you play. LOL.

I actually had a day off tomorrow and I had hoped that my usual store would come through and send it early. Especially given the fact that it's already released in other regions. No dice so far anyway.. and unlikely to be receiving it tomorrow.

Damn it.

Locking Darkseid behind a preorder wall and having a release date embargo for reviews isn't exactly behavior I would call pro-consumer.

If you've not got a dirt cheap preorder, Simply Games are dispatching copies by First Class. Ordered one this morning and it was sent 20mins later, should be here tomorrow. Slightly more than elsewhere (£38 rather than £35 that seems to be the cheapest), but getting it 2 days early is worth it

Yeah I heard, and I would've gotten one yesterday but I won't even be home until Thursday anyway, which is when I'm expecting my copy to arrive from Shopto.

I finished the story on first play on very easy right at 4 hours. Enjoyed the hell out of it.

I played it offline without the day one patch, and went straight into story mode wihout doing the tutorial or anything else. I had 56,560 credits, 3,700 source crystals snd 7 of whatever that green thing is after. I don't know if difficulty affected rewards.

If anyone has different reward results with the patch, please share.

Too tired to test out other modes to see the pre-patch rewards, but I don't even know if they would be accessible.

They will the numbers are based on tons of modifiers

I think there's a big difference between pro and anti-consumer. He's in the store if you want to drop $6 on him if you didn't pre-order lol.

Makes sense. I was just trying to get an idea if people were in the same ballpark after doing story mode. I thought I saw someone had almost enough for a premier skin after, but maybe they went back and did all of the missions to get that.

I don't understand the combo menu like are the combos there the only ones in the game? Can you link combos into other ones like in sfv

I've not kept up with the customisation things properly. Is it like Overwatch where you can spend in game credits to buy certain pieces, or is it entirely based on RNG drops?

I'm fine with either system, I'm just curious.

Those combos are dial a combos, so you just input the button sequence at any pace and the combo will come out (think 3D Ninja Gaiden if you've played it). They're very similar to target combos. But yeah, you can do SFV style combos too.

These are "pre-canned" strings that you can do. They combo into each other naturally, not unlike Target Combos in Street Fighter.

Difference is that you can also do these combos while the opponent is in mid-air and they'll still hit, and some of these combos also end with grabs or can be meter burned. A lot of these strings can also be cancelled into moves, but not all.

You'll need to go more character specific for which combos are ideal.

Injustice 1 spoiler
How did Green Arrow and Black Canary got resurrected?
They didn't get Resurrected, dr fate intervened with black canary death and took her to another universe to meet a green arrow that had just lost black canary so they became a couple and had a child (black canary was already pregnant from injustice universe ga).
In injustice 2 comic dr fate bring them both to the injustice universe.
I highly recommend reading year 1-3 it got alot of amazing moment especially with ga and black canary

What I struugle the most is the moveset. When I look at it and do all of them some moves only show up when doing an specific combo sequence really confusing...
