Purchased Garou MOW and Space Giraffe. I was thinking about Blue Dragon (since I can't find my disk) Skull Girls and Every Extend Extra Extreme, but I don't know. I'm just stockpiling for Scorpio at this point.

Stockpile for Scorpio is exactly what I was thinking.

I'm really confused. I can't seem to be able to buy orange box or portal 2 on my Xbox one, despite them saying their available for XBO???

They're also on the list here, but not on the store page?

Also the Xbox site says I can buy it and download to my Xbox one?

Hi guys, not sure if it was asked but is the Undead Nightmare Pack standalone or do I need the base game to play it?

I played RDR on PS3 but never played the expansion. I actually have it but would preffer to play it on Xbox One at this point. Thanks.

Once again, Catherine isn't on sale in the UK.

Everything about Atlus other than their ability to make games is absolutely shit.

I'm still holding out hope it will be added, it seems to have been removed from the store on console - usually that precedes a price change...

Also wouldn't it be a publisher decision rather than a dev one? Is it 505 Games over here??

Asking again, how are the ports of the SNK games?

Between Xbox, PS4, Switch and PC, which platform has the best versions of these SNK re-releases, both in terms of performance and netcode?

Just go to the Major Nelson link posted in the OP. It has store links for all the games. Portal 2 and orange box worked fine for me.

Not being able to buy some games from the console is a pain in the ass though. They download to the xb1 like everything else.

I can't find Phantom Breaker on the store. I see it on the Xbox.com site, but not on the One. Can someone confirm that this is really BC?

You need the original RDR disk or digital game to play that Undead Nightmare content. Not standalone.

All these games will probably be in the $9.99 gamepass that Xbox announced (Netflix thingee they are doing).

Kind of want some games but kind of want to wait for gamepass or whatever they call it.

I can't buy anything I always get this error:

"Sorry
Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again."

Has anyone experienced this and how is it resolved?

Got Dead Space 3, gonna play it with my bro. If anything, at the very least DS3 gave us to play a mainline Dead Space game together.

2's shit multiplayer doesn't count.

A few titles I might pick up, but this could've been a great opportunity to put some DLC on sale (SSX and Skate 3 come to mind).

Especially console-exclusive DLC like Dead Space 2 Severed. :/

Though I find it hard to believe Capcom Arcade Cabinet is $1.24.

I bought this in an earlier sale. The Capcom Arcade Cabinet only comes with a couple of games; the rest of the games in it are greyed out on the selection screen, and are unlocked with a DLC pack. Fwiw, the DLC pack went on sale a few weeks after the basic Cabinet.

You tried a different browser?

That pass will only have 100 games and I bet there's a good 15-20 XB1 games on it. If you desperately want a game I'd just pick it up to be honest.

They say 100+ but it'll be like 104 or something lol

For Xbox One games, you can keep the same account, as long you have something to buy on an another store. (region-locked gift card for example)
You'd need to go on the US store website, and buy it from there. The game will then directly appear in your library on your Xbox One.

For Xbox 360 games, I did gave it a try but it doesn't seem to work. I guess you'd need a different account, then again I'm not even sure about that...

I often buy games from the US or Brazilian store as they are cheaper generally than the UK store. There are a few ways to do this but I've found the smiplest:

1. Buy a gift card for that region from a website like offgamers.com
2. Either change region on the xbox or go to xbox.com and change the region at the bottom of the page and redeem gift card.
3. Purchase game with gift card value

NOTE: you will need to put an address even for a gift card, for places like the US, be wary of sales tax. I normally use an address in Oregon as they don't have sales tax on games apparently. If you can;t find an address just look for a university in that area and use theirs.

This all legit, MS are aware that this is done. They have however made the process increasingly difficult over the past couple of years.

I change region maybe twice a month, so I don't think there's any issue with how often you do it. Your MS account can have balances in multiple regions simultaneously.

Does it work for Xbox 360 games though? I did the same process for Xbox One games before (and it did work), but had no luck for 360 games, as it seems their stores are region-locked or something.

Not it does not. Only works for One games. You need to switch the region of your Account on xbox.com to access another store, however as mentioned before, that is only possible every 3 months.
Thanks for the responses, everyone. I'm trying to decide whether or not to buy from the UK or US store for when I eventually have an XBOS. Want to pick up some of these games on the cheap. My main reason for buying it I guess is for some 4K blu-ray movies on my new OLED!

This sale is unreal, ended up getting:

Trials HD
R-Type Dimensions
Lumines Live
Prince of Persia Classic
Shadows of the damned
Skate 3
Burnout Paradise

All for under 30 bucks.

I just bought Fallout 3 no problem, but it won't let me buy Orange Box. Keep getting a message saying they can't complete the purchase at this time. WTF!

I dont know if it because of the sale, but Forza Horizon is back... I bought it before it was delisted and now I want to buy the dlc. Unfortunaly, I'm getting "content is not available in your region" :(

Between Xbox, PS4, Switch and PC, which platform has the best versions of these SNK re-releases, both in terms of performance and netcode?

The Neo-Geo ports on XBLA are nearly a decade old and vary in quality. Samurai Shodown II is fine, Metal Slug 3 has a smoothing filter that can't be disabled but is otherwise fine. I can't speak to the netcode because I've only played them locally. There's no way these are the best versions currently available.

However, I'm pretty sure the XBLA versions ARE the best ones of SNK's post-Neo-Geo games, like MS XX and NGBC. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong?

Shadows Of The Damned & Symphony Of The Night are mine. Pretty good sale. Catherine missing in Europe is a shame though.

There's a duplicate listing in major nelson's list, Sacred 3 is there twice. Op is correct somehow. So in total 283 items in the list, not 284.

I took some time to go through the list one by one. Turns out I already own about a third, mostly thanks to games with gold, plus a few purchases I made when stuff was reduced. Also got some of those on Steam or as a Xbox 360 disc version. Here's my list for those curious.

Out of those I don't own, what are some I should absolutely buy in your opinion? Recommendations are very welcome.

I bought most non-exclusive games on 360 last gen but there are a few that I ended up with on PS3 for various reasons (went on sale there first, free with PS+, etc.) and I think I'm going to use this sale as an opportunity to double-dip on those so I can have them on X1. Gripshift, for example. I had a lot of fun with that game and I'd like to play it again without hooking up the PS3.

I'm planning to pick up Fable 2 & 3 since my discs are missing, and I'm looking to maybe get Gears of War 1-3. I played 1 back in the day and I cant really remember much, have the campaign aged well?
