Another Transformers: The Last Knight Trailer

Is the varying Asepct ratio gonna be a thing for all the prints?

Depends on what they do, I remember Revenge of the Fallen had some IMAX shots that were 16:9 like this on the home release (theatrical release had the usual aspect ratio always if I recall correctly). However, that film had a separate IMAX release with extra footage I think?

Does anyone remember? Been too long :p

Oh my God this looks like the best movie 6-year-old me could ever ask for. Day one.

The Human parts are fucking atrocious and the actual transformers action is amazing. So yeah that's a transformers movie alright.

I can't *believe* these lazy developers keep making file sizes so damn large. Btw, how does technology work?
I was so fucking pumped each time a new one was coming out for the first three films. The spectacle just kept getting bigger and bigger. And make fun all you want, but when the screeners goes black an hour into Dark of the Moon and then we get 90 minutes of non-stop Chicago-destroying action, I was loving it.

But the last film and this one both seem to really be scaling back on the action set pieces. They feel "cheaper," if that makes sense. And the creativity of the actual transforming is disappointing

Yeah, I got that blu-ray (the forest fight scene is still the highlight of the series, for what's it worth), but I don't remember it being in the marketing materials.

Also the extra footage amounted to a couple frames here, a couple there. Nothing you were really register unless specifically looking ofr it.

What's the point of Megatron in this one? They keep showing him, but he's had no plot revealed. Is he going to end up being an anti-hero?

The action and visual effects look nice, however the humor and even dialog is terrible as usual for these movies and I'm hoping it doesn't suck as bad as them and just be like the 1st one.

lmao, I think we got a new contender for shittiest poster. its pretty funny though.

man I wish this movie was entirely set in Arthurian times. that little glimpse of medieval action with Bay's touch of over the top sparks and explosions looked pretty cool tbh.

I still can't believe it's seriously mixing in medieval scenes and trying to be grim serious about it.
But hey a dragon transformer, that's all the damn excuse it needs.

Honestly adding medieval knights to Transformers is a novel and sensible step for this series.

And now, an unrelated image.

It's going to be one more popcorn flick with visual spectacle, endless explosions and provocatively copious CGI. When the movie is over, it would be hard to tell if there was any shit left that wasn't blown up.
No matter how many trailers it gets, it won't be enough to save the exasperation of the reviewers-critics.

I just wish the movie would finally come out, be shit, make a ton of money and we can finally concentrate on Transformer 9: The Search For God.

I haven't seen the last one yet. I guess I should check it out and rot a few brain cells before I decide whether this one is worth a cinema visit.

Is Optimus bad now though? What the actual fuck is going on in all these series (Fate of the Furious) where the good guy turns into a bad guy? It's bad enough TV shows pull this "he's not taking his sane pills" crap all the time, now we have movies doing it.

I wonder if Bumblebee integrated some of KSI's tech

Oh.....shit.....I had forgot about Galvatron doing similar.

It's certainly not outsde the realms of possiblity I guess that since he came round to the good side he offered some tech for them.

*phone rings*

"Hey! Hey, Josh Duhamel! You were supposed to come in to take promo shots for Transformers today, you idiot!"

"What? I can't hear you, the music is too loud."

"PROMO SHOTS!"

"Oh, fuck, right. I'll tell you what. Grab your camera, come down to this club, take those promo shots here, man. It'll be fucking hype. WE'RE PLAYING BEER PONG!"

"...Fuck it. Fine."

I wish he wasn't so much of an auteur. His style is unmistakable and it touches on every facet of filmmaking, including the acting style and sense of humor.

Too bad. I think I could stomach these movies for the action and music alone, but Micheal Bay "jokes" is something I can't deal with.

"Chez" Lindsay Ellis explained it really well how after a Transformers movie finishes or your brain goes to sleep during an action setpiece in these movies, it's still not memorable despite all the ways the movie tries to grab your attention but because it's 11 all the time, you're not left with much to store in your head.

Why is it So Hard to Remember What Happens in Transformers?

The only Transformers movie i've seen was Revenge of the Fallen and I remember hating it but this actually looks awesome. I think it's the swords, I'm a sucker for swords.
