Twintelle has her newness for now. Still. Our ramen girl Min Min is still the best and my favorite.
Whether it's Makoto or Min Min . butt kicking girls that want to help their family seems to be a thing for me

Really love the personalities in this one.
It's great to see a brown character get so much love, though her proportions help a bit. Can't wait to see her alt color schemes. Nintendo knocked it out if the park.

All these characters look so fucking creepy.
I know of at least one person who was sold solely because of Twintella.
I mean, I personally want Helix (And we're definitely getting Spring Man above all else), but if ARMS gets a second character, short of the final boss or one of the DLC characters getting even more attention, I definitely expect Twintelle to be popular enough to be considered.
Granted, I think someone already has her gimmick...

If we only get one character in Smash: Spring Man
If we got two: Spring Man and Ribbon Girl (Though if they're gonna be DLC, perhaps Ribbon Girl isn't a big enough contrast to Spring Man.)
If we get two and they care about popularity: Spring Man and Twintelle (as of now)
If we get two and they don't want a character that's kind of similar to Bayonetta: Spring Man and Min Min
If we get three: Spring Man, Ribbon Girl, and Twintelle (Min Min if they care about the above)

This sounds right. The only one I'd say is actually guaranteed is Spring Man.
If we get an ARMS character in Smash, it will certainly be Spring Man, given he's the face of the game. I could see a possible Ribbon Girl alt for him (though I think that's unlikely, given the differences in size and unique ability), but I highly doubt we'd get more than one ARMS character, if we even get that. I'm afraid that ARMS will be in the same position as Splatoon was before, being Nintendo's newest big IP that definitely deserves to be in Smash, but ends up missing out. I hope I'm wrong, but I have a bad feeling about it.

That depends on what the next Smash is.
If we're getting Smash 4 Deluxe this year with a few new characters, then yeah, ARMS probably won't be represented. However, we get a true Smash 5 some years down the line in the Switch's lifespan (which I honestly think is going to happen instead of an enhanced port), then I'm sure Spring Man will be included.

I'm expecting an enhanced port, like most people seem to be. Makes too much sense to not happen.
I'm sure Inkling will get in this time, but it'll suck if Spring Man misses out...

I just think it's amazing that we have all these great candidates now. I remember after Brawl came out, Sakurai was lamenting the lack of new franchises with standout leads and that the only ONE at the time was Olimar and Pikmin, but look at us NOW.

I actually like that ppl really love this woman of color. That might ouch more games to have black women or men on the forefront now. As long as companies can make compelling characters for non-whites, and not the stereotypical ones than they can be successful in getting fan base. I'm really looking forward to the cosplays if this.
