What tier is Flash in? Some of his outfits look really neat..

I don't think there's any character in the game that's unviable. Sure, characters like Supergirl and Poison Ivy could stand to be better, but they're still pretty solid (and FUN) characters to me.
So don't let Tier lists dictate who you choose to play as, just pick whoever you enjoy.
And yes, Reverse Flash and Jay Garrick are both Premier Skins for The Flash.
So it's not just my general scrubbiness that makes it feel like Kara struggles?

No, she has decent tools but they aren't THAT good to justify her low damage.

I'd say two things:
1 - it's so early, I wouldn't worry about tier lists, as they are likely to change (especially after Combobreaker this weekend, and then after the next major tourney as people adjust to the strategies revealed at Combobreaker), and on top of that, other than the elite players, most are still figuring their characters out/not used to every match-up anyway.
2 - Tier lists will be very different for casuals and competitive players. That's one of the things that bothers me with the talk of not nerfing Deadshot. Sure, competitive players are saying they can get around his zoning, but if, as a casual, you feel like you're mostly facing Deadshot who just shoots and shoots and every once in awhile meter burn shoots to push you back, that's not good for the game's player base.
But yeah, given that some top players have been streaming Flash, I'd say he's at least viable at this stage...

Thanks. Good to hear its fairly well balanced at least.
I like fighting games even though I'm terrible at them. But one of the WORST aspects about them are when you feel like you've lost largly because the character you enjoy playing as has a severe disadvantage.
I'll definitely at least try using every character at some point.

I completely suck with Firestorm and Black Canary. Completing story mode with their missions was a pain. Are these tough characters? I am fine with Batman, Superman, Flash, Aquaman etc.

Firestorm is fairly straight forward.
Black Canary has some slight execution required but the real challenge with her is mainly getting close to the opponent in the first place.
That's what I've felt. The entire time I'm learning her, I'm thinking, "why am I not learning superman or black Adam?"
She's a good character to learn the game with, tho. I think I'm passed he basics and ready to move on.
I thought Suergirl was top tier?

It actually helped me, in a sense, since I kept the gear I had earned but can now repeat the missions for Epic Deadshot gear and a Platinum box!
With people who can't bait her tele, maybe.

It's not a damage problem, it's a strings problem. For example, Deadshot has a low to overhead string. SG doesn't have any great string options for that kind of mixup pressure. The one she has that leads to a low in the second hit is good, and she does have a few strings that move forward well.
Superman only has the one string that's worth using, he's much simpler than SG.

Yea, he's definitely been winning me over from Darkseid (who I also think it rad). His playstyle really makes you wanna go ham.
I'm hoping they give him premier skin closer to his comic book look. Not sure why they went with the Doom-like, chitin armor.
This looks so much cooler.

That's really the only thing that disappoints me about this game so far, hopefully they fix it. The Atrocitus in the game is not how I think of the character at all. That is Atrocitus.
Feels like both. Superman hurts when he touches you and seems to have safe pressure. Supergirl doesn't have pressure or damage. Just feels hard opening people up, and when you finally do, it doesn't hurt much.

Right on I'm just enjoying focusing on the characters I find fun. I know I personally been avoiding Tier lists. Granted, people in this thread will be bound to spoil it though and I can tell whats popular from fighting game tournaments I've seen
edit - And that is when the game will become less fun when every battle is against the same fighters over & over once people try to fast track using tier list

Currently no you can't make him look like that. You can get Batman sort of close, that chest piece doesnt have the glowy bits and Supergirls glowing stuff is also MIA.

It requires more work than Superman, to put it mildly. SG is too honest, she's missing that one exploitable thing like Superman forward 2, 3. SG's back 1, 2 (I think that's it) where she moves forward into a low is probably the closest thing to that.

OK, it's official. I am in love with Wonder Woman.
She is just SO VERSATILE. I was having a lot of trouble with her before but now that I have some BnBs and some solid muscle memory and framedata knowledge of her strings, I see that she is a powerhouse. Still doesn't do quite as much damage as some of the other heavy hitters but she makes up for it with sheer versatility.
His forward+2,3 string.
It has incredible range, is slow enough to hitconfirm off of, can be cancelled into trait and is just all around a fantastic string. It was an insanely strong string in IJ1, it's gotten worse in this game but still solid.
And there's nothing wrong with copying others. Heck, that's like half of how you learn to play fighting games is by learning from other people!
