Bioshock Infinite has such a shitty cover. Here is this gruffy white dude you will never see.

Should of had a silhouette of Elizabeth with her hair being blown by the wind.

CrossCells is solid stuff. Just finishing up the last 3 levels. I enjoyed it. Dude always hits the sweet spot of how long it takes to complete the game with his entire logic puzzle pack.

Fallout 4 had a silent crash while I was redoing my character's appearance, just before leaving the vault... right after I lost 20 minutes of progress due to Survivor difficulty.

Off to a good start, I think.

Looks like Little Stone Software and Sega are working on a patch for Vanquish.

Anybody know how enemy scaling works in KOTOR? Does it change every time you level up or is it locked in when you visit a planet or something?

I installed Far Cry 3 on Steam, and I like it so far, the introduction and all. But I am getting dizzy while playing it, and I don't know if it's because of the heavy bloom effects, blur or head bubbling, I think it's the last. Is there any way to turn off these things? I took a look at the option menu, but couldn't seem to find any such settings. Really a bummer, if I can't play this because of dizziness.

I felt the same way playing Far Cry 4 on pc. Try turning up the FOV.
Edit: You can change the motion blur and DOF by looking at the PCGamingWiki page for FC3.

I don't really need a tag, but I figured I'd get one to make people jealous. Is it working?

No head bob options and from what I remember Far Cry 3 is from that era when a lot of options are a pain in the ass to change. But yeah, try turning up the FOV or even putting some distance between you and the monitor.

I turned up the FOV to 93 already, and it didn't help out. I hate when I also start sweating on my body while playing. Which reminds me of the days when I had to review The Orange Box on the Xbox and I had to eat painkillers through all them games.

I'll take a look at that url you posted.

It's probably because of low FOV, try to increase it to max. If not, turn on V-Sync.

I've already tried FOV. I'll try v-sync if this custom settings in the link doesn't work out either.

i'm not sure if i like crosscells as much as the other games

i feel like i'm doing a bunch of counting instead of logic stuff

got only the first 20 down and it can be as satisfying as the other cells games sometimes but idk, i feel like i'm counting too much

I think this must have worked. I opened the file in Notepad and added the line and saved it. I guess that's it. I haven't gotten dizzy yet, and been playing for a while this morning. The game seems interesting also a bit cliched with the group of friends missing, me having to find them, getting help from a creepy doctor and this tatau thing on my arm.. I do suspect it to have some magical power later on in the game. The writing is poor many places, but voice over delivery is alright and not forced or excessive. I do wish I could remap the Map to my mouse button, since it's used quite often, and it's kind of a chore having to enter the pause menu to access the inventory, crafting and various sub menus. I hope that is streamlined in the sequel. Thus far, I'm enjoying it for sure.

Sometimes you wonder what K-T is doing with their ports. AoT somehow uses my mainboard GPU instead of my 980TI and I had to change it via GeForce experience. Just found out why I have so bad FPS after reading the Steamforums and seeing that others also had that problem...

I got a sudden urge to play Tales of Maj'Eyal again (aka the best roguelike RPG, of which there is also a free version.).
I'm still in awe how great and varied the classes are. Last time I played I unlocked the Temporal Warden class, which I've tried out this time.
Bow + dual-weapon melee + awesome spacetime skills.

There's setting warp mines that teleport enemies away from me (or towards, depending on the type) and deal damage.
Spatial Tether 'chains' an enemy to his position, the further he moves away from it, the higher the chance he gets ported back to it. (while dealing damage around both teleport endpoints).
A passive that summons a you from another timeline whenever you take a lots of damage in one hit which absorbs some of the damage for this and the next 2 turns and also attacks with half of your damage.
And the craziest ability (which I haven't tried yet) allows you to play the next x turns 3 times, and then choose the best run afterwards.
Etc.

And that's just 1 class, lol.

I woud say it's a combination of old japanese men that only see the PC as some quick secondary extra cash that is 'nice to have' but not hugely important to their bottom line, have no idea about PC gaming itself and also don't care about doing it 'right'
+ devs that also have no idea about PC gaming and don't know how to do it 'right'
+ living in a country where PC gaming generally isn't big
+ language barrier making sure that they aren't really coming into contact with the reception of their ports or what a good port should actually have

What happens when you buy a game and unlock some achievements before you refund it?

Will the achievements get removed from your account as well?

I want to try out Friday the 13th but I don't want it to hurt my completition rate

Nothing will be removed, including play time

Is the payed version worth it? I mean aside from supporting the developer and having the game on Steam.
I actually have no idea what it adds/if it adds something, I got in a bundle. Let me quick check:
Yep, there is something extra.
- An extra class (which sounds really cool, haven't tried it yet though)
- a couple visual customizations
- an infinite life mode
- some extra space in the Online Vault (where you can store items which another character in a different playthrough can take out)

Nothing really major, the base game has tons of content.
Going by the price history it will be below 2 bucks during summer sale though, so not a huge investment if one ends up enjoying the free version.

I have always thought this was a fake game for achievement hunters.

I'm quite enjoying Yooka Laylee, though there are parts of it that irritate me.
One gripe I have is that often times I'd just roam around a level going through the same areas I've already cleared. just to see if I'd missed something.
Eventually I'd realize I've gotten all I could atm and then went back and found the right path in the main hub world to access the next one.

Another minor gripe: Is there supposed to be a tune that plays when I pick up Quills? Either it's very low or they didn't bother to give it one. I feel that in a collecathon like this, picking up stuff should give an audio feedback of sorts, like a ding or something.

How is that moronic?

Then might as well let us preload games that will have free-weekends weeks or months in advance? Where does it stop.

I'm also in a similar boat - weekend I'm travelling home and have access to an average wifi connection.

Giving a 2 or 3 day lead to download a 24 gig game for a free weekend seems like a pretty goddamn obvious thing to do.

If you can't download that much (as is my case) then don't play the free-weekend.

I have nothing against them allowing preloads earlier, what I don't understand is why you feel like it's your right to have this extended preload time.

Be it a 1MB or 100GB game, that's how it's worked for a while. Requesting an extended preload time is one thing, but he went straight to entitlement with his post and said it's moronic to not have earlier preloads.

Ok thanks. I'll probably buy it during the summer sale.
