Lines Snaked Through Entire Park for Disney's Guardians of the Galaxy Ride Debut

What are the best months to go to WDW to have the shortest wait lines, not just for the new rides, but in general?

That's not impressive to me. Fucking Viper at SFMM had waits over six hours when it opened, and there was no such thing as a fast pass then. I was there. I seent it.

Late August through October, not around any holidays or special events. The second week of January and for a few months after that avoiding any holidays.

He wasn't alone.
When your a determined kid, time loses all meaning.

Also, going when the park is open but school is not out yet is the best.

I was thinking about how miserable I would have been as a kid in that line. I remember feeling like the 30 minute waits were awful when I went to Disney World. But then again I didn't have the Internet in my pocket.

Love all the negativity in here, never change GAF.

I'll be going at the end of June. As someone who grew up in California and has been to Disney many times, I don't mind waiting a while for this ride, love Guardians and the ride looks neat.

Not sure what they mean by a 5 hour wait for fastpasses. They ran out by mid-day so if you didn't get them by then, tough noogies.

Surely no one in here has ever waited overnight or in a ridiculously long line for video games, movies, or Black Friday deals (or anything else they're really into) to experience it Day One. Everyone is just above it all, I guess.

Not only that, but try to plan on going during a weekday. It's absolutely awesome going to a theme park during a school week. The opening 60-90 minutes of the park is pretty much yours.

Imagine what a nightmare Star Wars land is going to be.

holy shit man. its freaky how good that is.

also this gotg 2 ride seems kinda wack. the tower of terror seemed more exciting and spooky. and the twilight zone theme for it is better too. i would be disappointed if i waited more than half an hour for this tbh.

i think Pandora or the inevitable Star Wars land would be worth the wait of a few hours though. I really like how much they focused on immersion for it. definitely want to visit disney world within the next couple years.

That doesn't sound right at all. Do we have another source?

That's what's bold in the OP.

"The line for Mission: Breakout! fast passes was averaging out about five hours during peak times, while anyone trying their luck in the general queue was reportedly waiting up to seven hours."

It's always the worst the first few days because you have every blogger and disney fanatic trying to the first one on there so they can talk about it.

No thanks, I can wait.

Have a friend that works for Disney so got to go into Pandora and ride the rides two weeks before opening.

While it was cool I couldn't imagine waiting hours in a line to go.

If literally everyone there were in costumes on opening day i'd actually go, not so much for myself but that it would be a crazy and interesting thing to see.

Their rules say that noone over 14 is allowed to wear costumes.

Again, doesn't sound right to me. I'd need to see another source before I believe it. I follow several Disney fansites and heard nothing of the sort.

I love rides but the overcrowding of theme parks, especially Disney, has me never wanting to go to them. I just find myself annoyed and unable to enjoy anything with places that crowded. :/

I don't wait in lines for the Club.. and I don't wait in long lines for food.

Fuck this shit. Fuck Lines.

Besides Console releases. :D

I'm guessing they mean fastpass returns are several hours into the day? Not like actually waiting in line. Otherwise I don't see why they'd even have a standby queue at all.
