Theme songs are one thing. But a great ending credit song? Helps to keep a show iconic. Some shows use one song throughout, like The Incredible Hulk's Lonely Man. Others, primarily modern shows I think, have multiple ending songs. One that sticks with me is the first season of True Detective with songs like Young Dead Men and Eli.

But the best?

Has to be The Wire's The Fall.

Special mention to Breaking Bad, which redoes the main theme in different remixes in each episode. A memorable one was Hector Salamanca's introduction, and the end credits are all done in bells.

I was just watching Kimmy Schmidt and the end credits had a joke song from the episode. I think I heard about 4 seconds before it skipped to the next episode. WTF, Netflix. It's your show and your platform. Maybe put a flag on that one to not auto skip so quickly.
