Don't Stop Believing played in the background during the scene in the diner. In fact, Tony puts the music on at a jukebox located at their table. When the screen went black it all went silent and then the credits rolled. In silence.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Steven Universe yet.
All throughout the first 3 seasons we were given this very simple melody that would get a new instrument added to it every 10 or 12 episodes. It was actually an amazing build up.

OP nailed it. The Wire is the only show where I didn't skip the credits – it's that good.
Worst I can think of is actually Better Call Sauls end credits. Completely ruins the mood, unless you're about to watch some 70s porn. Fantastic show in every other aspect though.
