What games do you currently play for quick (<30 min) sessions?

MK8 Deluxe is really good for this. A few matches online or a sp grand prix does the trick. I've already played it too much on WiiU to go for long stretches anymore

Also Graceful Explosion Machine on Switch, but I think those 30 min sessions change into 1 hour without me noticing.

Elliot Quest on the GPD Win. Not your typical time killer, but making steady progress that way. Fantastic game btw.

For me Killing Floor 2's usually a good choice, I quite enjoy Modern Warfare Remastered as well for quick multiplayer sessions. Mario Kart 8 as well.

Hearthstone on my laptop.

MK8, PP Tetris, and even Zelda just exploring for a bit on my Switch.

The latter has been brilliant while travelling. If I read on the bus I tend to get motion sickness really easily, but playing games doesn't cause it for some reason.

Thanks to Rest Mode, basically anything. Not having to worry about starting and loading up a game, playing for a bit, and then having to save when I turn it off frees up so much time. PS4 on, dick about in Nier or Horizon for a bit, hit pause and turn it off. So good.

Polybius is my go-to right now. Trippy high-speed 70s arcade goodness.

Last night before going to bed, I played some Mr. Driller (GBC). A run of 2500m mode takes maybe five minutes, and the gameplay never gets old, not to mention the beautiful aesthetics. You'll finish one dig and immediately want to jump in to the next. Highly recommended.

If you're the more modern type of gamer, you might instead consider picking up a gacha game or three. Once you've got an account for Fire Emblem Heroes, Granblue Fantasy, Brave Exvius, Dokkan Battle, and so on, just logging in for daily rewards will eat up your half hour easily.

I have a pretty decent mame cabinet and a couple of arcade cabinets I play while I am waiting for the wife to get ready or code is compiling.

On the go, vita or steam rpg maker games on my gpdwin

I typically do this with handheld games. Currently it's Puyo Puyo Tetris (which is also on PS4). Easy to pick up and play a few rounds.

Rocket Legue.

With it finding games almost instantly and the matches being 5 mins (a bit longer if it goes into overtime) it's the perfect game for when you have 20-30 mins to kill

For Honor, play a few matches and switch games. I love the game just certain things like character balance and server issues stop me from playing the game for a extended period of time unless I'm playing with a friend, then I will probably play longer.

I'd recommend Hearthstone (specifically the mobile phone versions, given the ease of being able to play wherever) but I would imagine trying to start as a new player at this point is the stuff of nightmares. Unless you're willing to lay down some cash or have a lot of patience.

Fantastic game though for pick up and play. Just 10 minutes on average required for a match.

I'll either do a quick run through a fighting game arcade mode, play Outrun 2006 for the millionth time or dig up another classic arcade game.

Kitty Powers Matchmaker.

Not even joking, watched Ray play it on Twitch, my gf liked the look of it so I bought it for us. It's great for small bursts of chill gaming.

Beyond that Warframe is also great for a quick mission or two at the moment.
