Considering they have a console to sell that was a shit conference. Like 2013 bad...

MS seem completely out of touch. I witnessed what it's like to believe in Phil Spencer - it ain't much...

Microsoft had a good run.

To me the most surprising thing was lack of true console or first party exclusives. How long are they going to dine out on Sea Of Thieves and Crackdown being "in the pipeline".

Forza look good but I mean its part of the furniture.

Crackdown looked horrendous.

Just with a less interesting battle system, judging from what we've seen so far.
It's definitely pretty, though!
To be fair, it's really hard to pick out the intricacies of a battle system in this sort of demonstration, so I wouldn't judge it yet. Will keep an eye out, but not really quite sold yet. Interested to hear more.

Overall a good conference. Showed tons of games which I can play on the standard Xbox One. There was nothing there to convince me to spend $499 on the OX

Way better conference than last year, it didn't reach last year's Sony levels of awesome, but it was quite good, loved seeing Metro: Exodus, AC: Origins and Anthem.

Yeah. If 499 wasn't reason enough not to upgrade to X, the realisation my Xbox One won't see much more action than it did last year is.

It's just Ori and some timed exclusive indies that will make me dust of the thing...

Wait, that's it? not even a Halo or Gears sizzle at the end.

Really sinks in just how many studios they have lost and shut-down since the big xbone announcement. Not sure why anybody would buy an xboox to be honest.

6/10 conference.

-Sea of Thieves looks really boring
-Crackdown 3 looks insanely bad
-Tons of indies
-Tons of multi-plat titles
-More BC is nice
-Ori is damn pretty
-Zero new 1st party IP shown
-$499

Was it me or this was extremely boring?

I dozed off a few times.

Same man, I'm not invested in Xbox/Console gaming anymore so the bar was as low as it could be, but still found it boring.

I will say, a fair few pretty games on show.

I'll give it a 5/10

MS letting 3rd parties carry the conference again.

I mean, Athen was best looking game showcased. Unfortunately (or fortunately) it's multiplatform 3rd party. So, not really a showcase for Xbox.

A bit disappointed there was no big new first party ip of any sort revealed.

And where the hell was the 'little' halo showing we were promised?

Cool. The XB1X isn't for me, but at least they ended the show on a strong note. Looks like good times for Xbox fans anyway.

Really meh showing. The biggest question I have: Where the fuck are the first-party AAA exclusives? Every big AAA was cross-plat. Are you going to try and sell an entire console launch on pretty much only Sea of Thieves?

Not a really good conference. Probably one of microsofts worst. No way is there a need to upgrade if you have a good pc and at least an Xbox one.

Platinum Trophy: Learned to Shit While Upright Again.
EA has all their bases covered now.

Battlefield.
Call of Duty with TitanFall
Destiny with Anthem.

Need their Zelda/Horizon Clone
A platformer of some type

Than they have their Quintfecta of every Genre covered

Ehh, it was alright. Better than the EA conference. Forza looks nice, some cool indie games, the original Xbox emulation. Anthem doesn't seem to diverge from Destiny and The Division much, I think I had enough of this kind of game.

I'd give it a B-

$499 is a little high for me. Not much for actual exclusives. Some of the games looks ... not great ... like Crackdown 3 and State of Decay.

Really underwhelming, no big exclusive reveal, it's funny that the 'Sony has no games' argument used to be used during the early days of this gen. Looking at the respective line ups now and in recent times, Sony absolutely wipes the floor with MS no question, in terms of quality and quantity. Crackdown and Thieves looked rough as hell. I don't know what's been going on at MS but they have been so disappointing this gen. Will Scorpio change things? On that showing I don't think so and that price... nah.
