Meth, not even once.

Hey you're using a render for Dante. That's not fair.

Use him in motion like the other characters.

I actually didn't notice Aquaman and the KOF character in there LOL!

Both Aquaman and WW look a lot better now, maybe there is hope.

Captain Marvel mentions Star-Lord when fighting Nova.

Marvel Heroes & Lego Marvel 1 were initially released before Contest of Champions, which was the cut-off point before the ban supposedly started.

Awesome

So we have confirmed pre-match banter between your own team, and banter between the opposing sides right before the match starts.

Yes please.

Your characters interact as you're choosing them?

The UI stuff really is reminding me of PSAS. Maybe not that bad, but it's a far cry from what has come before in the capcom fighters realm.

I had to look twice to realize what this was. It blends way too well.

I mean hey, I posted it and didn't even notice Aquaman or KoF

So Marvel Infinite doesn't have unblockables.

That probably means that if they hit on around the same frames it will auto block like in Skullgirls.

Combofiend just said there's no unblockables in this game. Will that apply to Firebrand?
The unblockable he is referring to is the simultaneous high + low unblockable.

There is no mention of that or the Hulk unblockable. I am assuming that it might not work.

Counter switches seem really cool. There's some interesting mechanics being included.

I wonder how balanced the infinity stone system will end up being. I can imagine that's a nightmare to balance around and only one or two will be found to be competitively useful.

I like that the combo breaker has a further penalty aspect to it. This was my biggest gameplay concern that's been mostly mitigated if the incoming character keeps on taking damage. Basically the best (i.e. most taxing on the person using it) combo breaker design I've seen.

I appreciate the insight behind the mechanics decisions right now, but I want some damn pro matches.

Yipes is just enraptured by the mechanics discussion, cause holy shit there's a lot of hidden stuff.
Using a gem stone doesn't trigger the cooldown for your tag partner.
Can you only use the Gem X-Factor when you're down to 1 character?

lmao that pushblock fireball thing is gonna be fun.

Nova sounds hilarious. Like I didn't like it before but he's so intense it's crazy. Fucking Xtreme as shit.

It does kinda feel like PSAllstars. The whole UI & presentation is so poor, and I like streamlined styles like in SFV, MKX, and I2.

Like this screen then going to a dim screen that just says Rematch or Character I think it was is just jarring.

Especially when there would be enough room to fit those options if you just move the text up a bit.

Michael Evans and Peter Rosas are still pushing the "we weren't limited by Marvel" narrative in E3 interviews with Japanese sites, despite every Marvel character on the box art appearing in a recent or upcoming MCU film and the base roster having zero X-Men.

Yeah, I don't buy that anymore. Its totally BS.
