Finally finished up fully enhancing my Ace. Did also the ultros trial straight away to make sure I had rod mastery available for him. Feels good to have a unit all powered up. Will probably be subbing out some materias for papalymo TMs once I get around to redeeming raid coins though.

So I do have a Refia and a Luka ready to go, but have been using Y'shtola cause I am still working on the TM for DC (Now that I have Genji Glove to work on it might take longer). Are they just that inferior to Tilith?

Well I've pulled 4 tilliths off this banner now. But no Elza or Vargas. :|
It all depends on the situation really, a DC Refia is powerful stuff too, Tilith is sorta like the Ling of healers though. Also note 2 things that none of the Tilith guides I've seen mention... her moves are abilities and as such can still "cast" while silenced, that and there are a few trials that have rewards for not using curative magic, which being abilities don't fall under.
edit Nothing stops you from taking it a little slower and using both Tilith and Refia either... (or dual healer situation period)

Just don't know how hard to pull. I don't really have a solid healer atm. I have to do off healing with Cecil to keep up while using Y'shtola.
2 and 8 is only 10... which means you only got one rainbow? Your luck really is gone!

Cecil can do pretty well with a DC as well, if that helps your situation any or not. You've probably seen the X in how many pulls for Tillith chart already too. It's quite awhile before Ayaka comes to visit and puts Tillith back on the bench.
Rates can definitely be rough if they really do the dick move and put Wakka as a 4* though >.>;
Yshtola is a solid healer. At least top 4, maybe top 3. A JP player on here mentioned they were still using her 9 months later. Tilith is great, but she can't do everything and Gumi can't design the game expecting everyone to have a limited unit. Yshtola may not be the new hotness anymore but she's still useful as heck and not at all a bad main healer going forward.
I can't imagine they'll actually do that. There's no precedent for it, and "raising" a unit to a higher base serves no purpose except to dick people over. Gumi pulls some shady stuff but a move like that is indefensible. I'd more expect them to shuffle the banners around to fit another pre-existing 4* in there, or create a new 4* unit and shove them in. Raising Wakka would also leave the banner without a 3* unit, which seems unlikely since we are already having one of those.

Same here. Maybe it is because of internal time zones. Nearly everytime i can't access the new banner because of this...always funny when the summon section is empty.
Edit: checked it. Yep timezone bug. Switched it to Tokyo and got my shadow, sabin, tellah, raksha, that fairy thingy, other stupid blues and the dog from the current banner and a gold blue haired waifu. Guess i lucked out with my fina pull.

I had Tilith from last go round and I cannot pull a banner unit to save my life this time. Im not even doing dailies, Ive resigned to using my Lapis on refreshes as its the cheapest way to achieve my goal (getting everything good from MK).

Oh and Lyrian, to answer your question, yes I have refreshed a few times. The generous nature of the rates does encourage me. That way I can get things done quicker. And I'm worried its a fluke! I've had multiple metal God runs in a row which helps.

Got the best two on a limited banner, that's pretty darn great. Elza seems to be a monster after the recent enhancements, congrats!
Dang c-murph could wait for the half-energy event to start, then it would only cost 600 lapis for tears and disappointment.

That's a most interesting response, with a perspective I was not even considering that caught me off guard somewhat. I've got some academic thoughts on the matter, but I'd like some additional perspectives first from others.
Let me extend these questions to everyone then:
-- 1) Have you refilled on this event because of the generous currency rates? If so, how often have you refilled? [none, a few times, many times]
-- 2) If you have refilled, is it because you believe that the rates are an unintentional fluke (Ex: Gumi was lazy as this event is a literally copy of the first event and didn't think about adjusting currency rates) and are trying to take advantage of them?
-- 3) If future Mog King events were just like this, would you want to refresh there as well? What if all future events were like this? At what point would you consider these generous rates to be "the norm" and would stop refilling because they will always be this good?

Given how much I type when I switch on academic mode, I won't be able to type out my take on the matter until after work tomorrow, as there is no way in hell I am going to hunt and peck touch typing a lengthy post on my phone while at work.
1) I've refilled 3x so far. Stopped because I don't want to overfill for this event and waste potential. Maybe near the end I'd do a few more IF I hadn't obtained everything yet. As Shintoki? mentioned before just skipping 1 1/2 price is 2 refills, and for me without ANY gods thats 21k~ with 2 energy bars.
2) I did it with the idea that my rates are actually high for once (my last 2 events was only a friend unit), so seeing that nice 11k or 15k pop up is very nice... Combine that with the prices of the shop stones and other rewards and I actually feel like I'm taking advantage of the game for once.
3)If the next event was a carbon copy and I wasn't able to manage 325% bonus (that's with friend), I wouldn't try as hard until maybe the final day if something like the bangles still needed to be purchased.
Edit: tickets, quartz, 3/3 accesories, kelsus stones, 6 star replenishment, 2 t4 stones. Definitely want to hit up a few more t4s, and possibly t5s...
1) I haven't refilled and I have no idea why anyone would refill on a Mog King event unless it was the last day or two and you knew you were going to be short of currency. Given that you can get on hot streaks of bonus units - especially on this event - you're potentially throwing lapis in the trash. What is the goal, hurry up with the event so you can get back to TM farming? I don't get it.
2) Didn't, but I sincerely doubt Gumi would "fix" rates in the middle of an event (in the wrong direction - yes, we all remember Hanging Edge). To what purpose, other than pissing players off?
3) I'm yet to refresh on any Mog King event because it's so far been possible to extract 90-100% of what I actually want without them. If a MK event comes out where I don't care at all about the bonus units, then maybe that'll change, but upcoming we have FF12, FFT-3, and FF3, so that won't be any time soon.

Kunshira? She's an upgrade of Freyvia basically though leans more as a finisher than a chainer. Free Dual-wield with Swords/Rods for her, 60% ATK/MAG when equipped with one of each. another 30% in ATK/MAG passives standalone. Wide assortment of attacks and Imperils and she has 1 hit 800% Hybrid Attacks, multi-hit 550%, a 1100% that unlocks for one turn, and a 1320%~1800% LB.
Her biggest problem is maxing out passives and she has MP problems, lol. She's strong for sure and worthwhile as a 5-star but JPs don't like Hybrid still.
To be fair to Kunshira, Espeon can't talk, walk on two-legs, wield swords and rods with their mind. =P

Man, I would've been happier with a non-dupe like Donkey Kong Cecil, though.
