Seriously. This is the exact opposite of what I wanted. Playing Zelda on a plane with headphones, I couldn't hear anything from the game. The base max volume is way too low.

It's basically the trade-off for being able to use the Pro Controller as a wired controller. Hopefully gyro is still an option.

In a future update I hope we'll get to attach a brief text message to friend requests, a feature that was already present on the Wii U. Since my Switch name is different from my handle here, I send everyone a separate PM whenever I add them just so they know who I am, and the process is more cumbersome than it needs to be.

The news channel feature is currently only set up for Super Mario Odyssey. I think I've seen too much of the game before its release already, so I won't be subscribing, but it makes for an interesting successor to the way Nintendo previously used Miiverse and is currently using the Splatoon Tumblr page.

Next "substantial" update is probably coming in july when splatoon 2 releases as it apparently is coming at the same time as the beta of the nintendo online lounge or whatever that app was. Because otherwise there would be no reason for Hori to release a headset for voice chat at the same time lol.
