Yeah, the animation isn't the best. Some episodes of the show are actually animated better. Nothing too jarring, though, just not as smooth as nostalgia would have you believe.I think people are going to be surprised at the semi-frequent rough spots, honestly.
It's one of those movies you remember very, very fondly, and if you're revisiting it for the first time in hi-def after like, 10 years? Some shit is going to jump out, definitely.
I think the original run of the show has 3 volumes on DVD with The New Batman Adventures being the fourth.
Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssss
Best batman movie ever, even better then '89 and RotJ.
I found Batman through the Burton films, but I stayed for The Animated Series. I'd follow Conroy into the depths!Give us the series next, WB! I'll give you all of my bat-monies.
Yeah that's probably true overall, but there's a certain charm RotJ has that I've always loved. If nothing else, I think it's by far Mark Hamill's greatest performance as the Joker.
Plus I always enjoyed Terry as Batman.

I think the 3rd has some really good episodes in there but most of the strongest are in the first two. I do really like Over the Edge and Mad Love from the 4th volume, though the latter is just an animated version of the book.Yeah I got them. Not a big fan of the direction of the 3rd and 4th volume though tbh although it's all enjoyable
Wonder what a bluray remaster would even look like. Sometimes with visuals like this it does it more favors to be a bit grainy anyways
Now you're going to make me actually cry.
TNBA art style is not good for the most part, so it has that going against it.
This thread better be updated as soon as it's available so that I can buy it.Gonna preorder the shit out of this once it becomes available on amazon
Doubt there will be one because most Warner Archive releases are not released outside the US. Warner Archive releases are manufactured on demand. The Blu-ray discs are properly pressed, but covers are home printer quality. Please have a UK release. Please please please.
Whenever I hear her work on MOTP or The Animated Series, I always either get excited or choked up.
Appointment in Crime Alley
Nothing To Fear
Theme Song
Clayface
Batgirl
Mr.Freeze
Just a few examples. I watch Batman: TAS once every year and it's always a joy.

Uh I think you mean first 3 volumes. Otherwise you miss House and Garden aka one of the best episodes.Nice. One of the best superhero movies out there
Would like a bluray of the show too one day. Or at least the first two volumes.
I recently re-watched "Beware the Gray Ghost" in honor of Adam West. The soundtrack really elevates that episode.
Are they region free? I'll import, if so.Doubt there will be one because most Warner Archive releases are not released outside the US. Warner Archive releases are manufactured on demand. The Blu-ray discs are properly pressed, but covers are home printer quality.
Day 1. Best Batman movie ever made.
Mask of the Phantasm also has the best Batman theme ever.
Let's not forget Shirley Walker's godly score.
They usually are. I believe WOW HD is the cheapest place to import Warner Archives titles from. Are they region free? I'll import, if so.
