If LRG can get Arc System Works on board that could mean Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R getting a physical Vita release.

Exactly. LRG needed to "teach a lesson" to publishers tempted to be greedy and to release more units behind their back at approximately the same time (à la Silver Case).

Now Eastasia will realize they have to play it fair and don't "hide" PA releases ; their 3000 units will probably sell a little slower (I hope it won't be another Cursed Castilla situation though)

Apparently this was originally a mobile game, and it's ported by Panic Button Studios.

Looks pretty good. Makes me sad it's not coming to Vita really - the studio have experience on the handheld and it looks like it'd be a good fit. Oh well. Can't afford it at the moment anyway :p

Yep it's Ghost Blade and this is basically why they're not going to go with it and just let EAS have it.

Wow this... really bothers me. I mean, I like EAS a lot - they make good games; have supported Vita well and I've honestly liked that they've been offering indie games through Play-Asia (even if they're taking their sweet time to get their first Vita physical out).

But this sucks. A while ago, LRG were really proud that they were teaching devs how to do their own limited physical releases and that really seems to have bitten them in the ass with EAS, especially now since they're literally poaching games from them.

LRG deserve better than this. Was sorry to read this.

Didn't see anyone mention this yet..? (Edit: whoops, Shizuka already did.)

This looks really interesting! I'm not sure how I feel about the battle system whatever it is but the game looks charming and intriguing.

I don't have Aokage's fancy 3D template, but hey.

Beautiful!

Yeah i just saw Ghost Blade HD has a physical edition up on Play Asia. Shame if so cause I don't want the extra crap, just the game

Play Asia package there release nicely ...even if you don't need the extra crap it all fit inside the box ...suck LRG not releasing it, but i'm a fan of Play Asia and totally impressed with Blue Rider and Cursed Castilla ..and for $29 it a steeal tbh

Hyped for Furi, first time I'll try to get a soundtrack bundle.

Quick question about Dariusburst Vita: There won't be collectors edition this time, right?

Lili is an interesting game, it was revealed during an Apple Keynote in 2012. I played maybe 1h of it on iOS when it came out and enjoyed it. It was a technically impressive game with a charming art-style. Like Oceanhorn, it's a game that takes a lot of inspiration from traditional console/handheld games (Beyond Good & Evil, Legend of Zelda, etc.) and makes them work on iOS but Lili might have trouble standing out on PS4. And it should be able to run on Vita if they ever decide to port it.

Lili's Battle System looks like its only QTEs. :/ Is that really it?

I think so, it was technically very impressive in 2012 (Lili and Infinity Blade were great tech-demos for iOS devices back then) and it had a nice artsyle and a well-designed, likeable female protagonist. But the gameplay was pretty shallow and never really hooked me. Exploration and very basic combat designed for touch-only controls from what I remember. Which was ok for a $4.99 app imo. Maybe there's improvements for the PS4 though?

What happened with Cursed Castilla? What was the situation?

It just sold out super fast. Soldner X-2, Alchemic Jousts, Bluerider, are still available on the store, it is the first time such a rush happened on Play-Asia.

Not according to Josh's post on CAG. He said he cut the run in half to 2k and it'll release in nov/dec.

CAG Post

And supposedly an equivalent version regarding the bonuses if I read well.
It may be better to wait, then...

On an unrelated note : I've opened my Ray Gigant !
...
I find it boring as hell xD

I realize my last order (Broken Age + Deemo) which was supposed to ship with two previously held orders (Mutant Mudds and Risk of Rain) is still unfulfilled. Hope they won't accumulate too much backlog since there's another run tomorrow :/

This is why I skipped the LRG release. I already have the Japanese release of the game and I couldn't bring myself to buy it again. I love the character and enemy graphics (especially the bosses) but the story/dialogue and character personalities are all so unbearably annoying that I just couldn't bring myself to care about the story after the first hour or two... Its an average dungeon crawler at best with a terrible visual novel segment.

I've be pleasantly surprised already by a few games I didn't expect to enjoy, such as The Swindle (loved it) and Curses n' Chaos (okish) but it looks like Ray Gigant won't be one of them.
Like you say, the story and the overall atmosphere are boring. I find myself drowzy at times.
But even as a DRPG the game is super weak. I find the combat system non-intuitive, and frankly quite random. The grinding inside of empty dubgeons is not exciting. The enemies' art are cool, but this is just a screen of smoke since they're never animated.
Bah. I'll try one more Dungeon just in case and then I'll sell it I guess ^^

Since LRG has undoubtedly gone out of their way to add an extra countdown clock to their main website along with a schedule outline through Google Calendar, I'm debating on whether I should make this post the final countdown update from my end. Don't know if these have been helpful for anyone out on the Net, but I'm partly worried over these details simply are being redundant given all the other resources available straight from the source. Either way, best wishes toward everyone out there gunning for these titles tomorrow!

Pretty nice guy (apart from the blue shadows thing...)
I looked the game up when Shinriji mentioned it for the vote list.

It's a digital-only PS4/PSV remake of a 2006 PC indie (Doujin) game that was released last October and got an English language patch a month later. The only physical version is the self-published Doujin release on PC, expensive and it does not contain the English language option.

PS4 Version, PS4 Demo

Vita Version, Vita Demo

Steam

PC Version (ebay)

Ah, it should be noted the version on Steam is over a decade old. The PS4/Vita version has substantially overhauled visuals, more content, arranged music (original is still selectable), and is 16:9.

Question. I missed the Darius vinyl so I resorted to eBay. Most were selling between $85-$200 (lol). Anyway, I found a seller selling for $27. So I bought it. It all looks exactly like the LRG release. So my question is does the LRG release have any identifying marking? Just wondering of I got ripped off.

But yeah I was pleasantly surprised by the clock on the website. Maybe it's time for you to retire. Anyway, the community will remain grateful for your deeds =)

So, after watching videos and reading reviews, is this the basic gist of Furi?

Boss fights only - with hack 'n slash gameplay inspired by bullet hell mechanics and difficulty?

If I'm wrong about any or all of the above, please let me know. Thanks.

Boss rush with a DASH of bullet hell. Anyone saw what I did there?

I've always found your countdown posts very helpful! I tend to hang around this thread more than anywhere else when it comes to LRG releases.

OT: Definitely down for Dariusburst. Debating making Furi my first PS4 LRG release.

Call of Duty Black Ops Declassified, DJ MAX Technica Tune and Attack on Titan, although the latter is PSN-only.

Wow the US/EU regions had it good in some ways. We're droppin' $80 for Odin Sphere in JP, and few packaged games fall below $60. Shiin was a shocker at $45!

Yep. It is VERY skill intensive, to the point I know a few people who couldn't finish the game :)

I'm so excited

Darius Burst is one per customers, right? Not two like other LRG usually has?

While we're at it, when there is a Bundle such as the Furi one : can we take 1 bundle + 2 normal editions ? The bundle is limited to 1 per customer and the normal edition to 2, but I'm not sure you can cumulate both...
