Since LRG has undoubtedly gone out of their way to add an extra countdown clock to their main website along with a schedule outline through Google Calendar, I'm debating on whether I should make this post the final countdown update from my end. Don't know if these have been helpful for anyone out on the Net, but I'm partly worried over these details simply are being redundant given all the other resources available straight from the source. Either way, best wishes toward everyone out there gunning for these titles tomorrow!
Eager to see how Furi plays. It sure looks fun.
Anyone know why Wonder Boy isn't on the upcoming releases page?
Furi's stock is disappearing faster than Dariusburst. Wow, I expected the opposite.

It's just as I had thought. Some people that wanted Darius (like me) got it on PS4 already, and probably aren't buying it twice/waited for it on Vita. Also, more people have been bowing out from complete collections lately, so less people even more. I figured the new game would be more popular this time around. Not that Vita Darius won't sell out, of course!
I feel oddly compelled to buy Dariusburst even though I already own it and the JP region DLC wouldn't work.
I am tired.
Because my brain hurts!
Updating now!
Same.
Dare I say that PS4 demand in general is now higher than Vita? This wasn't the case during the early LRG days. These are two different games, but I get the sense that even when the releases are the same the PS4 version has been picking up steam faster than the Vita one.
In this particular case, it also doesn't help that:
- The vita version is, well, very hard to see
- The PS4 release came before, with no Vita announcement back then
They did the right thing setting it at 4,000 copies. It will still comfortably sell out of course, but there isn't as much crazy demand, it seems.

Nah, I expected this. Vita games seem to be taking longer to shift these days. Combined with the fact that a lot of dedicated fans imported the Japanese physical version ages ago; plus there was already the PS4 version release and it wasn't confirmed we were getting the Vita version, it wasn't really the perfect circumstances for this one to shift quickly.
It'll still sell out.
It's gonna be interesting watching things like Oceanhorn and Salt & Sanctuary going forward though, to see if PS4 demand really is out-stripping Vita these days.
Do IT! You can boast about have two versions of the same game. We all love to have bragging rights.
Whoa, Darius Vita still available. I expected that to sell out in 2 seconds.

I get the sense, from reading random comments here and there, people may see the PS4 version of Dariusburst as the definitive experience. That may have hurt Vita sales a bit
Really ? I was considering taking the Vita release and part with my PS4 one... Do some others share your feeling ?
While we're at it, is any of the Dariusburst DLC actually worth it?
There's so much content on the main game already that I haven't even bothered giving it a try, but I'm tempted by the Space Harrier one. Are the unique stages truly unique?
Absolutely. The Vita screen is just too damn small for what the game is. It's still worth having, but I would never sacrifice the PS4 version for the Vita one.

I can't speak for all of them, but in my experience with the couple of PS4 ones I bought, it's similar stages full of fish-bots but with unique mechanics based on the game the ship originates from. There's also music from the origin games, too.
I'd say they're a bit overpriced but there's enough there if you're a fan of the origin game to make it worth a purchase. Just don't go blindly buying all of them.
Pricey, most trufans already have the PS4 CE and/or the Japanese Vita version... Many factors :/
I'm sure it will sell out shortly. I think I'm mostly surprised because "shmup". We're talking about a crowd that will spend over $50 for an LE that contains a download code and no disc. I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with that, but I honestly didn't expect to have an option to buy Darius when I rolled out of bed this morning. It's a $50 Vita game that already had a LRG print for the PS4 version. It's going to sell just fine, it's just not going to sell out in seconds.
Well, there is this thing...the vita active base aren't there anymore and they won't come back. Only people aiming for a full collection are bothering with new releases.

Which is why we need a decent simultaneous multi-plat release to really test this.
Though, I guess Risk of Rain and Broken Age might be a bit of a precursor to this (although they still sold out).
