NBA Offseason 2017 |OT| Only Big Ballers™ Allowed *please pay $495 to be a Big Baller

He is the player EVERYONE wants from their roster because of that contract, lol.

He also led the Celts in 3 pt% last season if you can believe it, lol.

Exactly, he would be more valuable in a trade than he would be on the Celtics roster. Danny needs to balance this shit out, he can't go into the next season with 3 bigs, 3 guards and 98938123 wings.

I think one of the reasons they drafted Tatum over Jackson is that he has somewhat of a chance of playing stretch 4 in the NBA, while Jackson with his short arms don't have the same possibility. And if they get Hayward somehow, I can't see how Crowder isn't traded.
They took Tatum because if the evaluation was close then asshat Jackson making Ainge and co fly out to Sacramento to cancel his workout sealed the deal. Him and his agent can get fucked. At least lonzo straight up said in not working out with you and didn't waste their time.

Yeah that was bullshit, glad we passed on Jackson if that's the mentality he would bring up along with broken ass shot.

Scuttlebut on twitter is George to Boston may be done but for cap reasons they need to sign their max free agent first so the trade will go down after that.

Bill Simmons criticizing the Kings for trading down from 10 because "this isn't football don't overthink it" after he spent the last week defending the Celtics trading down because "it's what Bill Belichek would do"

And yet that was the smartest move of the draft night. Aside from Minnesota fleecing Chicago.

He is in the record books now as Player Name.

And some talks about an extension being in place. That would be pure evil to the Lakers lol.

Sorry, a clean-up is needed in my cubicle if true...

Taking the flier on Giles is an ok move when you remember that the kings don't own their 2019 draft pick. Have Giles work with your medical staff for year and hope his game comes back.

I heard someone, can't remember who, on a radio interview saying the Celtics could hold off on a deal until after they land Hayward. Makes sense since they need cap space to sign a FA, but they just need the numbers to match on a trade.

Seriously? I'd be beyond thrilled to get Hayward and George both long term.

Anyone credible reporting this?

Of course not. Boston conspiracy theories. Kevin McHale ain't a GM anymore. So these pipe dreams mean nothing

Adam Kaufman has connections; he's not making it up out of thin air. And Woj and Roto were reporting that the conversations were pretty far along last night.

It makes sense to me that a deal was always more likely to be finished during the FA period than the draft.

So I think it's at least somewhat credible.

I'm talking specifically about PG agreeing to an extension upon being traded.

I saw Kaufman reporting that, not sure how particularly credible he is. Which makes sense, Danny said he wouldn't do rentals in the past trade deadline and now George would be an even bigger rental so why even explore that trade?
You explore it to see if you can make the Lakers panic and give up assets they don't need to or have to in order to get PG.

Ainge on TV just now was asked if he was close to a deal last night and he said yes. Ainge already confirmed it was not Butler and KP so it had to be George.

Ainge also said most teams he talks trades to ask for Jaylen Brown

The Bulls are so stupid that it's crazy. The trade was garbage and we sell our second round pick for nothing. Please fire these guys. PLEASE.

Who cares about the Lakers? They are terrible, they gave a fool control of their team, they are in the other conference and their best plan for improving appears to be getting two separate top-15 players (including the best player in the NBA who has made 7 straight finals) to sign with them in FA so they can spend their post-prime years playing with 20 year old Ingram and Ball.
