Would you want an F-Zero GX DX on the Switch?

This game is too good. The story mode the tracks the characters. 40 unique themes, one for each character. It deserves another chance.

Would you want to risk another F-Zero or would you want a DX treatment with updated graphics, 8 new tracks, 5 new characters, maybe a new mode and of course online play of 30 or if not at least 16 racers.

I'd take this in a heartbeat. I know they read this forum and this game deserves many more sales, do it Nintendo!

Hell, just an HD re-release would already be fantastic.
Put the AX content in it and online and it'd be glorious.

That said, it's one of the gamecube games that use analog triggers...

I'm not sure I trust anyone to make a new F-Zero game that I like as much as GX, so a remaster with some new tracks, online play, and maybe a new mode would be perfect for me.

I played the original way too much I would want a new entry. I loved SEGA's take but if they can't to do it anymore I feel like the FAST RMX or ARMS/Mario Kart 8 team could handle the task of making a new entry.

The only downside to a VC release or Switch port would be that there is no fucking way I'm doing story mode on Very Hard again. The hardest shit in gaming I've ever achieved to unlock the AX stuff.

I will cherish my F-Zero GX disc, and more importantly, CG memory card and save, until the end of my days. My Wii lives on, primarily as a GC player.

No, I want a new game. Leave the Deluxe offerings to Wii U remakes. F-Zero GX on Gamecube Virtual Console would be welcome

If Nintendo cannot make a new game themselves, then give Three Fields Entertainment some money (they seem to be working on penies/scraps/air right now), and they will make something good.

HELL YES. I want a "DX" over a VC release so we can have proper multiplayer.

It already has the tracks, (some vehicle parts might be locked off though). Am I missing some other content?

Online play for fzero trying to track 30 racers when positioning in every fraction of a second is of utmost importance sounds like a nightmare to implement.

Just give us GameCube virtual console with GX and I'll be fine.

That would be one step closer making the switch the best Nintendo console ever.

We just need Fzero, starfox and some RPGs like terranigma to make this console even better than the snes.

DO IT!

If Nintendo hasn't caved in on making an "HD Melee," I doubt F-Zero GX stands any better chances...

Mind you to answer the question, I honestly want a new F-Zero Experience.

AX is already included in GX.

To access the AX cup, you have to win all four GX cups on the hardest difficulty. Not that hard to do really.

The real challenge / ball ache is unlocking the AX ships. You get one for each of the Story Mode events you beat on the hardest difficulty. God dame they're difficult.

Edit: ITT people who never beat all four GX cups and didn't find the AX content.

A Melee HD competes with the most recent Smash game.

F-Zero GX has been the last game in, what, 15 years?

Yes! 1080p 60 fps on switch HD graphics. Include online and update car customization settings. Make AX characters easier to unlock as well. Instead of very hard, have it on hard.

No, new game or nothing. One last hurrah before they conclude F-zero games don't sell for shit to justify making them anymore.

Pretty much everything is in GX except for some menus and like 3 music tracks or so. Not sure about the custom parts though. The card system of the Arcade was pretty cool im just a sucker for Arcade gimmicks. You can access AX via cheat device on GX too.

I'd rather have an X remaster to spruce up the visuals, or a new game. GX would be okay but there's nothing that really needs updating so I'm fine with my GC copy.

I nearly wet my pants imagining what a new one would look like considering how much nintendo has been absolutely killing it with the graphics in their games lately
