Thanks for posting.

Any news on NA pre-orders? I've been trying to keep checking Amazon and Best Buy, but with the pre-order thread being closed I feel like I might miss out :( Relying on the new thread twitter feed.

There are retailers who charge upfront? Both Game and Amazon charge around the time items are shipped.

Very are a credit store. You usually join, they give you a limit, you buy, they hope you don't pay it off and charge you interest for eternity.

The distinction here is that they sell on credit, they don't normally deal in games pre-orders, it's mostly just clothes and household goods with the odd popular gaming item thrown in. So you can buy a shit suit or a TV and pay in instalments but you will pay way over the odds.

In this case, you will have x amount of time to pay off your SNES Mini beyond release date (I assume).

With Very, you will either get the console, and nothing will go wrong, or you will have on the worst retail experiences of your life. I would wait for literally any other outlet than use Very.

I have no idea why neogaf blocked the preorder thread. Now we will have 20 different threads for each retailer in each country

They seem to think that letting chaos reign in one thread was worse than having the chaos on the FP.

I guess they can lock all the resulting threads but that sounds like a lot more work in the long run...

Anyway, good luck with the hunt guys, I'll be hoping amazon UK doesn't cancel my order.

Why would they even want to lock the resulting threads? What is this forum for if not for this sort of thing?

Maybe they can let us have a community megathread?

Very are probably the worst online retailer in the UK. Good luck to those who rolled the dice.

Already on top of it

ME:Hi I just pre-ordered an item released in September, and paid it off in full with my card. If I choose to cancel that pre-order, will my card automatically get a refund?

Very CS: That is absolutely correct Joe. Hope you're well by the way.

So if you find it cheaper or want a, possibly, more hassle free experience, you can get your money back.

I saw this earlier, but when I added it to my basket, it said that 100+ have been ordered in the last 48 hours. Very is some small-name department store mostly specialising in clothes. There's no fucking way they'll be able to honour all of their pre-orders, so I didn't bother.

I was super bummed when the thread was closed. I feel like my chances of knowing when NA pre orders are available plummeted when it closed. Instead of F5'ing one thread, now I gotta F5 2-3 websites or hope that someone makes a thread and I see the twitter notification in time. Ugh. Thanks NoA.

It's what I've been doing and I feel in the dark. Even though the pre-orders didn't open it was nice to get rumors of when and who.

So to be clear, this thing runs off USB so I can plug into an available port on my TV( or PC monitor) and it runs off that? Because I see people talking about importing this thing, so I'm assuming 110/220 voltage isn't a concern with these units?
