I think a lot of you would be very surprised by the personal opinions of a lot of wrestlers.

Same as actors and musicians.
No one is saying other people aren't dick bags as well.

Most of us are here are talking about how shitty wrestling is on this stuff on general.

And absolutely. Many musicians, actors, and athletes are shit fucks as well.

YOU'RE OUTDATED

Owens throws nigger about though...

We have one documented incident. I do not know whether he continues to do so. He said he regrets using it. My worry is he still thinks its okay to use because..."well, I'm not racist". No way to know if he truly understands intent doesn't matter.

Well. We are slightly more ahead just having the woman's wrestler out there. I mean for real.

And I can't say what the fan base has been percentage wise, but just as an audience woman have always been involved and not shunned away.

Late, but I gotta say, I've seen some harrowing shit said about the female wrestlers in WWE around the net. Especially the women of color like Naomi and Sasha.

Also keep in mind how fast some folks are, even in this thread, to post comments/gifs/pictures of woman with some sort of derogatory intent.

Yeah, until he shows his real views. I am willing to say AJ is worse.

19 years ago, inside the Hell in a Cell, we had one of the most legendary calls in wrestling history.

"GOOZLE ME 'TAKE!"

Funk's sneakers straight exploding off of his feat were great

PM a mod about it. Don't bring it in here. That's how you get community threads locked or get yourself banned

Guys seriously, we've been warned at least twice about meta commentary about moderation in the last week or so. Probably should knock that off

We don't need to commemorate things every single year. 19th anniversary? Modbot had a reason to lock your thread. The "insert random anniversary" threads have been an acknowledged issue already.

Don't complain. Respect the mods.

So how did you all respond when AJ Styles called Chris Bosh a faggot after Bosh insulted Style's faith back in PWG in 2005?

Yes, wrestling personalities are more backward thinking, outdated and do a poor job being role models. I agree that Wrestling does not act like it's 2017.

I wasn't watching wrestling then (was in my lapsed period) and this is the first time I've ever heard of this.

More proof that AJ is a southern bigot, though.

Yup. Traditionally male dominated spaces are still pretty hostile to women in 2017.

Why have we had so many threads about how to wipe one's ass?

How do some of the people on this forum function?

NASHVILLE | TORONTO – Anthem Wrestling Exhibitions LLC, a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment Corp. and parent company of IMPACT Wrestling, announced today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Global Force Entertainment, LLC d/b/a Global Force Wrestling.

Jeff Jarrett, the founder of both IMPACT Wrestling and Global Force Entertainment, will join Anthem Wrestling Exhibitions as a member of its board of managers, equity owner and Chief Creative Officer.

“We are thrilled to be joining forces with Anthem as a partner to build the business,” said Karen Jarrett. “This partnership will be complementary of our strengths and bolster our capabilities to grow the IMPACT Wrestling brand. Ed Nordholm as President and Jeff Jarrett as Chief Creative Officer make a great tag team”

“We are excited by the progress we have made with IMPACT Wrestling since acquiring the business in January,” said Ed Nordholm, president of Anthem Wrestling Exhibitions. “Jeff and his team have been instrumental in this success and we are pleased that we have reached an agreement on the basis of which we can combine our businesses to continue to grow. Slammiversary XV will be a fitting occasion to bring the promotions together and merge the titles under the new IMPACT combined belts. By combining our resources and talent, we can produce the best product for our global audience.”

I try to stay out of any hygiene threads because of the things you learn.

Like the guy who said he doesn't need to shower because he uses wet wipes.

Their honestly comes a point where you have to decide to ignore personal beliefs with celebrities if you enjoy what they do and if those personal beliefs don't creep into what they do.
