Got charged by Wal-mart for my Crash order. Hopefully it arrives on Friday (or better yet, even earlier!).

This is my first order from wal-mart so have no idea what to expect.

I was under the assumption that Wal-Mart charged when you pre-ordered, not when the item ships or is about the ship???

I haven't checked my statement since E3 but had assumed I'd have been charged by now for fall releases.

I havent been charged for anything yet, not even Crash.

There's random pending charges here and there but nothing actually posted yet.

Someone here said you get charged right away and that's pretty much the only reason I ordered with them, was to be charged now. My card is going to expire by then and I didn't want to have to deal with the hassles of switching cards on my account when the new one comes in. Fuck.

Walmart charges when products ship like a normal retailer. The posts about unwanted charges from them here came from unwanted authorization charges hitting debit cards repeatedly and causing issues that way. I've had three authorization charges of $90+ hit my card but they reverse themselves away a week later.

But yeah, if you've got a looming expiry date situation you're going to need to update that card with them at some point.

I spoke to Wal-Mart this morning and it's going to be a mess. You can't change your card through their website, they aren't allowed to take anyone's card and change it for them through their customer service and you can't go in store to get it changed in person.

My only option is to place the order again once my new CC comes in, which will be right in the middle of a couple of my orders this fall. Not only that, but even though the rep put in a note to honor the discount, I have a feeling that won't be so easy. Pretty sure that at this point I can say goodbye to a couple of E3 discounts.

This is why you order with Amazon, they're shipping might be garbage but issues like this can be resolved within minutes and without even speaking to anyone.

Because they're cheap for Amazon, and even with just them as their Primary 'customer' Intelcom has it made. Sucks for all of us though. Things won't change unless it actually affects people ordering from Amazon or the other delivery companies undercut them (which will never happen)

Amazon.ca has Cod IW and BF1 for 39.99. Just had BestBuy price match to 34.99 which includes the 10% discount. Not a bad price while we wait for SNES classic pre orders to open!

I dunno about the others buy intelcom package always shows up at 6:30am in the morning for me.

I'm tempted to pick up a refurbished Vita 2000 (slim) from the MTC Factory website, but I wanted to ask if someone maybe had one for sale for cheaper.

I'd want it to be pristine quality, but I don't need a memory card nor a charger; just the console is fine. I don't really mind firmware version either.

Also, I will be hanging onto my E3 preorders like grim death.

That reminds me of when New Super Mario Bros Wii was $75 at EB for absolutely no reason when it launched at $50 and was $64.99 everywhere else after the dollar dropped.

Order from MTC. It will be as pristine as you're going to get without buying brand new, and for sure better than anything you'll find on Kijiji. Plus, 90-day warranty.

Bought a white 1000-series from them last year and it was like new.

I sold mine used while ago, and one thing I noticed is that there are ALOT of used ones out there, with barely any use. However, MTC is excellent and you get some sort of warranty with it.

Hmm...I've honestly never seen placeholder prices displayed on shelves like that.

Not a definitive answer, but that's honestly not the greatest sign.

I hate myself because I know I'll end up paying $99 for Metroid Prime 4 day one. Other games, I'm not so sure about. Hopefully software sales drop off for Nintendo Canada and they take notice.
