Here's a graph of box office GAF activity created entirely for my own amusement/curiosity. I have mentioned that it feels like we have been more active in the last couple of years, and aside from some huge spikes last year for BvS schadenfreude the tail end of The Force Awakens, we do seem to have some upward momentum going.

Well I know as far as I'm concerned traditionally I'm hugely interested / talk about the gaming industry sales data and in the past somewhat / semi interested in Box Office. I would usually post a ton in NPD / gaming sales and was pretty regular in Box Office but only would post a couple times per thread.
I feel like gaming sides sales threads have become so poor lately with fighting and shit throwing there isn't a whole lot of good convo to be had there so I'm hardly even in the NPD threads anymore. Whereas Box Office GAF I like much more lately and the core group here seem much more down to have fun conversation so I'm posting much more in these than I used to.
So yeah props everyone good community we got going

Oh god, the thread itself is now getting its own kswiston graph. I expect it to become self-aware around the release of Justice League and Thor 3. It will swallow the rest of GAF and then move on across the internet to absorb Box-Office Mojo and Rotten Tomatoes.

I forgot that I made some of the past threads when I datamined xaosslug's "threads created" search page to speed things up. That explains why most of the years had 24-25 weeks when it should have been 26.

Eh. Transformers just needs 2 films in a row that don't suck to start making money again. The Bumblebee spinoff needs come in at a low-ish budget and not suck. And then T6 needs to not suck.
