Hey. Stop.

Is it just me or does Hollow Knight sometimes fail to register controller inputs?

I saw someone else complain about that in the sale thread but i never noticed it during my 30+ hours with the game. Was using a DS3 with ScpToolkit.
I haven't gone back to it in a couple of months now so it might be possible that a patch broke something.

Saw on RPS that Ark: Survival Evolved has had it's priced doubled, and is now 69.99€.

Next game to be reviewed bombed I assume?

I originally thought it was just Steam controller being hard to grip, plus Steam link's streaming latency. Then I played it at my PC with wireless Xbone controller, it's more responsive but it still feels weird sometimes.

I played 30 hours so far and occasionally it feels like jump (A) doesnt register but I just chalk it up as me sucking. It is likely though because it happens somewhat regularly.
I know for a fact that the game doesn't register your jump if you've just respawned from a spike/acid water/fall death.

It came out of Early Access... but yeah, that's a huge price hike lol

There are few games I would pay 70€ for, and I'm even less likely to be willing to pay that money, when the price hike occurs after the devs have sold 5 million+ copies of the game.

Anyone had issue with screenshots not showing as uploaded in the screenshot pop-up? Perhaps what causes it? I've noticed this issue several times over the months; sometimes it's broken, other times it's fine.

It's doubly weird, because if there's a comment on a screenshot, it will still show up--but still won't appear to be uploaded.

It really makes uploading new screenshots tough.

It's already been getting review-bombed for the Early Access expansion, I hope.

ARK's development is like, how not to develop a game: a real-time guide.
What I have been doing..I just suck lol

Hey man. We all have those days where we die a silly death.

i want it more then i wanted any game, but im searching for a better price

I know how you feel, I pretty spent all my cardmoney I had saved for the sale on just that one game. I am glad I did, it is fun and I think it will last me for awhile. Also really good podcast/audiobook game.

The dev patches the game pretty rapidly, so report whatever crashes you can. Or maybe just mention it on the forums.

e.g. there was an unidentified potion crash after the last big release, and I believe it was fixed within 24 hours.

I think it mostly has been my computer, the FPS tanks sometimes and then crashes. Mostly when there is alot happening, like wind, gasses and such. Also sometimes when an enemy is going crazy, like I had a werewolf hunting me and that seemed to make the game grind to an halt.

I have fun in it but i have not progress past 4th level in 5 hours...tips please.

I'm at 13 hours now and feel like I'm still lost. I don't know if this is a good way to do it, but I drink and read stuff as soon as I get them, so to have indentified. I also mostly rely on throwing dagger, I alway have one ready the inventory, so I can throw twice and then pick them up again. When stuck in a level I just use "descend" scroll or jump into chasm and then go up again to explore the rest of the lvl. Be careful around statues, look for any sign of sound and then sneak.

They'll do their release marketing push and then they'll notice that the people willing to spend 70€ on ARK already have the game and the price will come down again.

It was in a $12 Humble....and was the early game so people who were interested could unlock for a month. Seems excessive to charge $70. I got it in the humble and have yet to install.

? Pretty good numbers for a port of something that has been received very mildly by the fanbase, is a spin-off, and released during the summer sale without a discount.
I wouldn't say they are good sales, but considering how the PS4 port sold in Japan it could have been much worse
25./00. [PS4] Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls <ACT> (Spike Chunsoft) {2017.06.29} (¥3.800) - 1.694 / NEW <20-40%>

I'm sure V3 will be fine

uh, is Trigger Happy Havoc similarly gross, or does it deserve to stay on my wishlist?

Nah, Trigger Happy Havoc is fine, and the sequel's loli shower scene is an easy-to-miss Easter egg that my luck dictated I should not miss. There is some other weird anime fanservice stuff in the sequel, but nothing as objectionable.

Audiobook game? interesting. the fact is humble bundle and all steam sale, that were better, destroyed my will to buy..maybe also the fact that i have to spend much money in other things...getting old sucks!

Hmm. So right now, it seems like collecting games that have been removed from Steam should be reserved to license issues.

That is better in some ways. Though I wish it was announced and we got grandfathered into it.

edit: hmm. After seeing the list of +1 games that no longer count as +1, I'm not entirely sure what the reasoning is. I wonder if it's going to apply across everything soon.

I never understood why some people feel the need to delete them at all when you can just put them into a trash category or make them invisible.

Because sometimes, you need to get rid of a game. For exemple, I bought a God Eater 2 key but neither I or the seller knew it was labeled as a review copy. So it meant I couldnt get God Eater 1. So I had to remove it and get the game on the store.

re: banned games being removed from API (don't count toward game count, others can't see ownership unless they are your friend and go to the Friends that Play page of the specific game) list here

Is there actually any good reason for this?
One side-effect I noticed with the DH games* (I know, I did not pay money but the far greater cost of my dignity using gleam.io) is they are no longer eligible for booster pack drops (on the page for it says you are but then the master list of eligibility they are absent). Shame as that was the only reason I bothered to idle them
I can still turn the cards into gems

I guess that is one way of slowly killing the trading card market for those. Although it seems you can still create the booster packs.

Still, I always found it kind of weird that DH are banned from Steam but could still be receiving marketplace royalties. edit: I just checked the marketplace listing for a DH card. No active listings...

*-The list is a lot smaller than the delisted games so I guess it is companies that have severed ties with Valve.

I actually managed to win Fault Milestone 2 and World End Economica 1 and 2 in giveaways, i basically have no regrets for not getting the SP bundle anymore

Except that i'll probably not get Nekopara anymore but that's probably a blessing in disguise

Does anyone here have a Surface Pro 4 and can tell me wherever Civ 5/6 works well on it?

I have a similar with Intel GPU 520 I think it was and neither of those really work, sure 5 might work with low setting but 6 never really worked for me even with low settings.

This is a pretty decent list of the essentials, you should sift through it and choose what you want. here's my personal go to

http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34832/?

http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/42666/?

http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/39651/?

I'd stay away from Project Nevada if you want to experience the vanilla game first.

Thanks! Got some that looked neat.

Got bless Nexus Mod Manager. Installing mods has never been easier.

Well shit. Might as well just do some indie games then.

However, some people on other forums says it runs great. Confused.

Oh well, it's still going to be used mostly for writing, work and browsing.

I have noticed it since launch. Wired xbox.

That's weird. I played it about 30 hours starting on release day with a Steam controller and never had an issue - possible it was introduced in a patch? Or maybe some Windows-being-Windows thing going on.

Civ 5 ran pretty well on even an Intel HD4000, just make sure to turn settings to lowest, especially fog of war.

So I only picked up a few titles during the Steam Sale (feels good, man).

One of them was The Sea Will Claim Everything.

Gave it a spin and boy howdy is it good. A simple Point & Click adventure with inviting hand-drawn presentation. The real star of the show is the writing. Put simply, it's top-shelf. Even the incidental stuff is a joy to read. Good thing too, as every scene has dozens of things you can click on for descriptor, flavor text. The world & lore feel well realized, and the tone just puts a smile on my face.

Great stuff thus far.

Praise Crom

I noticed I have some unclaimed keys from a humble monthly in my humble account so I might make a giveaway from those soon

although I'm also seeing an assassin's creed key that i swear i had given away already

Weird the keys are not appearing on humble like I had not claimed them yet but I see I made a giveaway with these games using keys?

Man Invisible Inc. is hard. I barely managed to get both agents out on like the first level after failing twice.

So I've been having a "problem" (if you could call it that) with Steam these last few OS installs: whenever I launch a game the Steam window that appears stating that the game is starting (or performing first time set up) is always off center, down and to the right. No amount of moving the window will save the new position.

Has anyone faced this same issue and resolved it successfully?

It does seem only limited to recently removed games regardless of the reason they were removed, scammers, idiot devs or just lapsed rights makes me think it might just be a fuck up. Hopefully. You'd think Valve aren't dense enough to think people would be fine with losing game count, losing levels, losing access to achievements etc...
