Followed him on Twitter, subbed him on Twitch. CovertMuffin has won me over.

GET ME OUT OF HERE BATMAN

YESSSS!

Edit: Oh, Kingdom Hearts. I have to tune out... I've never played these games and bought the 1.5, 2.5, Ultra Hi-Fi HD Whatever collection when it came out a few months ago.

Man, I remember hating cursor glitch in jedi outcast so much just playing casual. Happens so often for no discernible reason. Must be infuriating when trying to speedrun it.

Surprised it was never patched out.

GDQ definitely is a bit boring this year. The list of games have been fairly static and there aren't too many new ones that you really need to catch. Some of the more interesting segments and runners aren't around either. The commentary during runs feels a bit sterile as well for most of the runs.

From a viewer perspective, it definitely feels like the event has gotten really corporate in the last year or two. It just doesn't have the energy to it and it feels like rather than making it about the runners, they're planning it in to make the most money for the event. It's totally fine to want to raise money for the charities but man, they're doing their best to make it less enjoyable.

... and then came the jedi outcast run.

Agreed with this.

Why is this announcer drifting in and out of a terrible fake english accent :D

Excited for the mario race later!

So happy I was able to catch the Jedi Outcast run. Knew Muffin would put on a good show. Dude's energy is infectious.

Now to watch some KH before going to see Spider-Man! Aw yeah!

Shame there is no breath of the wild run that would be extremely interesting to watch :( then need to try to mix more newer games in with the mix

PS4. Faster load times.

Ok, wasn't 100% sure. I have it set to 360p and no audio here at work so it's hard to tell my looking alone. That and the title card info at the bottom says PS2 when earlier runs have mentioned being ran on Wii VC or something when applicable.

I'm enjoying the run too, I have no knowledge of Kingdom Hearts but these explanations are great.

Not bad. Always enjoy the KH runs and love seeing them have fun singing these songs. Won't be able to watch the rest of it but I'll definitely be back for that Mario relay race. That should be nuts.

I was only half paying attention so it caught me off guard when the singing started. But they did a good job on A Whole New World. I take it that's something they often do on these runs?

Yeah since you can't speed up the long on rails Gummi Missions, it was decided that Disney songs would be a good incentive to fill up the dead air during those parts.
