REMake is the better game for sure. But you'll get great enjoyment out of the both of them. Definitely worth the asking price.

I just checked, seems like Dead Rising 3 WAS cheaper in the summer sale ($11.39 CAD versus ~$15.50 CAD for the Humble Bundle). Of course, you also get the rest of the bundle included, so still not a bad deal if you're interested in the other games. Decisions, decisions...

I got some enjoyment out of it back at launch (on PS4). I can't imagine anyone is still playing it, though.

You can still find people playing on PS4, somehow, but it's been dead on PC. Now I might be able to find some people tonight on PC even if they're all there just to make fun of it! I'll go to bat for this game any day. It's a budget game but it's got so many interesting ideas. I played the heck out of it.
