COMICS!!! |OT| July 2017 | Princess, I've Seen the Way You Look At Me.

Chris Mitten getting a really good gig there too, pleased with that. That guy has been suited for Hellboy from day one, glad he's been received well on Black Flame and there's more to come. I wonder what the rotation on BPRD will be, it would be odd if it was only Campbell, and doesn't seem like Harren will be back. I'd take Mitten, although they'd probably fold in the Fiumara bros first after their tour on Abe.

Sounds like they're all 5 issue series...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Also The Archie's getting a series is hilarious. A one shot that had two month long delays before release surely won't have problems. But we can't get a normal Archie verse Sabrina book?

Hello there

Do it Marvel
On Amazon vol 5 of Spider-Man/Deadpool lists Robbie Thompson and Bachalo as the creators.

Yeah, Archie is announcing a bunch of random Riverdale stuff, when a normal Sabrina book would probably be the most popular.

Feels like every other day there's 5 new Mignolaverse comics in the works. I can't keep up, yo.

Haha I kind of felt it had slowed down for awhile there, feels good to have a bunch of stuff lined up again. I can only see two actual Mignolaverse trades between now and the end of the year (The Visitor & Lobster vol 5), a year or two back it was a trade every other month. Thankfully there's a few other Mignola things to fill the time.

Also, the fact Jon Malin retains a job with Marvel is incredible.

Is Corinna Bechko the first woman to write a GL book?

I believe so, yeah

This is a good example of how few women write corporate comics.

Read The Windstorm #5 and, damn, this book is really growing on me.

Is anyone reading one of Brisson's ongoings? If so, what do you think of his writing? How was his Bullseye series? Curious because he's local to me. We frequent the same comic shop. I haven't read much of his work. His first issue on Old Man Logan was alright, I guess. Sheltered was alright. The only thing of his I really liked was Murder Book. I like how he does non-cape noir.

I need to catch up, but I've heard good things about Iron Fist.

Warpath looks like 90s Dick Grayson on venom.

Truly the Dickster!

Only Sheltered for me. I read the first volume and dropped it lol. I didn't hate it but I just didn't care about the characters and didn't see the point in continuing. That was ages ago so no idea if that's a reflection of his current stuff.

I think the only Brisson i've read is the first three issues of The Mantle, which i dropped because i didn't like the writing (the dialogue specifically). So.
