I hope some of the unwarranted shit posting goes away once we have an official OT. It's just annoying now.

It's something that I already learned to live with. I meant I had to deal with many shitposts in Smash, BattleBorn, and Street Fighter communities, so it's not surprising that we would have to deals with some people again in this thread.

Not to mention Battleborn threads too!

Thanks for the reminder. It's shame that BattleBorn still have bad stigma, at least the community is/was alive for first year so I had a lot of fun with the game. Until I decided I had enough with the game and move on to next game(s).

You were expecting it to change in a month? I doubt they'll actually make improvements before launch but there was no reason to expect a change since e3.
No, I'm saying that claims of Chun's model being changed are similar to people thinking Ken's model was different in SFV's story mode.

Oh ok. At least Ken's model is actually good so it does look nice when it's not in the dumb pose on the character select.

I think the games' negative reception could be salvaged by a "re-presentation" of the game, the easiest and least costly version of that would be through a delay and a new marketing/"hype" cycle.

I mean, they could release and offer free updates or whatever but a) that's not gonna happen with Marvel involved and b) that turned out not so great for SFV.

Chances are though it will just release and they'll just do their regular cycle with DLC characters. I don't think they'll try to do anything to salvage it. Which sucks, 'cause I love MvC, and given how these things tend to go, this might be the last one for a while.

The only way to salvage this game is to have an information blowout and show characters that nobody thought was going to be in the game all the while showing improved visuals. That won't happen. Sucks that they keep going dark on this game as far as communication for the game.

Makes the most sense to me.

I've experienced enough launches with the same kind of backlash and it only meant bad things for the game's performance.

We know when we'll see new shit, relax.

With the Black Order being revealed for Infinity War, I suppose Proxima Nova and/or Corvus Glaive's chances went up a bit as eventual DLC.

I don't know what's more surprising, Eventhubs' general popularity or that they haven't been banned as an outlet on GAF yet.

The site's power to persevere through shitty web design and shitty content is awesome.
