Ubisoft to announce more Switch games "quite soon"

I can see them re-releasing some last gen ports, such as the Ezio collection or AC Rogue. Rogue would actually make a lot of sense as most people missed it, which is a shame as it was better than both Syndicate and Unity.

South Park TFBW would be pretty dope. I think I'd pick it up on Switch rather than PS4 or PC if it was released with the other versions.

Mario Recon: Wildkingdoms.

See the mushroom kingdom as you've never seen it before: in a gritty 3rd person cover shooter where Mario, Luigi and Peach must retake their kingdom from North Korean soldiers, one bullet at a time.

Wield Mario's iconic M4 with red dot sight and ACOG scope, take down enemies using Peach's combat knife takedowns and scout enemy fire bases using Luigi's scout drone.

Is Ubisoft the first Third party to increase their support?

I've read a ton of "wait and see" statements, including from Ubisoft, but as far as I know Ubisoft is the first to actually follow this up by saying they have now more games coming.

Yeah, probably.

That would be great. But I think they needed to downgrade it a little bit too much to make it work...but I coukd be wrong on that.

I would definitely play it. AC on the go would be amazing. Maybe Ubisoft saw the great sales the Switch is having so they will start putting their bigger IPs on the Switch!

We did hear rumors a while back that AC Origins would release on Switch the same day as other consoles, but more recently rumors have said that is not going to happen. That seems especially likely since it's the same day Mario Odyssey releases I believe.

South Park seems like a reasonable guess, since we know the Switch can handle Snowdrop quite well. I'd love a bundle of the two games really, but I doubt they'd port over the first one too.

There's also the possibility that it will be brand new games. Or South Park/AC and one other brand new game. Whatever the case it's good to see them (semi)serious about supporting the Switch (I say semi because they still haven't released a single game outside of Just Dance yet but there's a solid amount announced).

I'm no expert, but that doesn't just doesn't seem possible in Origin's case.

Oh, if it was an good port, I surely woulf play it too! I love my Switch so much that I would play nearly every game on it. :D

Southpark call me surpised if they annouce assassin creed oriins cuz they would have to downgrade that to ps3 3.5 or just 3 graphics first wich is stillfine by me imo as i don't care about graphics much.

NISA delayed at least one game to add a Switch SKU and the circumstances surrounding WWE 2K18 lead me to believe it wasn't planned for a Switch release until relatively recently.

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
I wouldnt expect Siege on Switch...but since Activision didnt bother with CoD on Switch they could benefit from the lack of any competition for this type of game.

At the pace that directs are being revealed then I imagine we'll get one next month, might be a general one as well.

Yeah, there isn't a big first party title launching next month, so it would make sense to have a general direct then (Mario + Rabbids is not a first party published title fyi).

Not sure what to expect from Ubisoft. Maybe they will port the first Watch Dogs and the Splinter Cell they released for Wii U, to Switch.

Maybe one Assassin's Creed. Hard to say.

But I am totally in for a port of that Valiant Heart and remake of the first Beyong Good and Evil.

If it's an already announced game, which I would think is likely if they are announcing it soon, then South Park seems like a good candidate. That said, I'm expecting it to be something else though I have no clue what.

I'm thinking South Park, and less likely for The Crew 2.

Actually, they never announced AssCreed for Switch, did they? Could be that...

If Ubisoft announce and release some decent titles, grow the install base and encourage other third parties to get on board the Switch, then it would go a long way towards me forgiving their past mistakes.

South Park would be great and would make sense now that Snowdrop has been optimized for the Switch via Mario X Rabbids.
