I know plenty of couples, gay and otherwise, who have met via apps.

It's hard to find guys who are into gaming and going out to bars. I may just be a unicorn in that respect.

Omg yes!! I know so many gays but almost no one plays video games.... It's like wow, that's a harsh realization of this cruel world.

You know JCX, we truly are the last of us.

You're not a unicorn at all.

That's why I like The Phoenix in Las Vegas, NV so much. They have a gay gamer meetup every week, play Smash (the most accessable competitive multiplayer game in creation aside from Mario Kart), and it's the same night as their underwear beer bust.

The "problem" is that gamers tend to be a part of a more socially awkward crowd and don't exactly shout from the rooftops that they play video games. There have to be meetups, groups, or bar night that specifically draw them out and allow them to feel safe and social.

hew tf doesn't play video games i mean

There's a difference between playing video games and being so into them.

GUY: Hey you like video games? What have you been playing?
ME: Tokyo Mirage Sessions, Overwatch, Bravely Second
GUY: Huh, never heard of them. I pretty much just play Battlefield.
ME: :/

I know a lot of gays who play games, but few who play games and enjoy drinking/partying/clubbing.

You're lucky to have a bar that hosts events like that. My experience mostly comes from apps (because our gay bars are trash). I talk to gamers, but they don't drink or go out.

I also find the "gamers = socially awkward" thing to be kind of outdated in my experience, since pretty much everyone grow up around games in my generation and area. The ones I've talked to enjoy going out and doing things (hiking, coffee, sports, etc), just not bars/clubs.

I too like bars and video games and my boyfriend just likes bars. I don’t know if I care that he doesn’t like them. I feel like I get the talk about them out of my system with other friends and neogaf.

I see a reoccurring theme here that it seems taboo to even talk about being interested in videogames out of an irrational fear due to some unsavory people gaming attracts.
It's not the majority but I see it pop up enough.

My ex and I were both into the same types of games to the point we gameshare on PS4 and music but had enough differences that kept it interesting. I don't need a potential to be into the exact same things as long as he respects my hobbies.

There's plenty of other things to bond with but gaming time with your boo would be a plus.

My ex and I met on a gay gaming website, so naturally we both loved gaming. He loved Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid, and I was Halo/Gears of War. After talking for a few days I sent him my 120GB HDD for the old fat Xbox 360 when I purchased my xbox 360 slim. This was right after the e3 announcement.

I was buying him games for his PS3/PS4. *shivers* Oh those times.

As people love bars, I just don't go to them since I don't drink. The closest thing i go to is like Buffalo Wild Wings, Fridays, restaurants that serve alcohol. I live a dull, boring, and sad life.

the only bar I liked was when I went to a trip to New York and went to the barcade on St Mark's place.

it was really nice, but other than that I just don't tolerate bars, specially considering I don't drink alcohol.

I went there with GAF but they didn't let me in because I was under 21 at the time

Chick Fil A is the lords calories. They don't count regardless how healthy or unhealthy you eat! Best shakes hands down... but Friendly's comes in close second. Hahaha pizza sounds incredible right now. Enjoy!

I have a question for you gay and bi gentlemen, whenever you see an attractive guy, aside from the feelings of sexual attraction, do you also wish you looked as attractive as he does? I personally don't wish for that because I wish to subvert masculine attractiveness even though it'd be far easier for me to pull off than the opposite. I look at attractive women and I do wish I looked like them tbh. I consider myself genderqueer but maybe I'd transition if I had the means to do so.... Anyway, just a little ramble from me.

Yes, I definitely wish I was attractive as the guy I am either checking out or want to slay. I feel my dating life would be so much easier if I was attractive. I wouldn't always be so down on myself.

Sad thing is, people want good looking, in shape type guys... and not... me.

I hate myself in every way possible but I don't want to look like anyone. At least that. I have to work what I have. If that is not what people want, ok I will feel bad (like today) but I wouldn't want to be different. This is what makes me myself

Attractiveness is subjective so I don't compare myself to whom I may find attractive.
There's a few cuties here in the OT but I don't go, "damn I sure wish I was on their level".

I think I look alright for the most part so the thought never crossed my mind.

You are getting in shape and still improving and you are an attractive guy so fuck anyone else who doesn't see that. Your worth isn't valued by someone else.

All the time, honestly. This is why I avoid places where there will be too many attractive people, haha.

I have never found someone who finds me attractive, while I have found many many others attractive, that has taken a toll on me, so yeah, I actually wish I could look like someone else. I think that is the only thing I dislike from myself, although I don't think too much about it. (don't want to get any kind of obsession)

No. Haha. No.

If you were talking about sex or Instagram followers, I would understand. But how you feel about yourself, how you socialize with others, and the love you show to others plays faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar bigger impact on your dating history than your looks. And you have most of that already situated.

I will argue up and down that I possibly am the most caring, friendly, respectful, generous, optimistic person you'll ever meet. I feel my personality is fine, and I am hilarious. I don't judge people, and I will help the world if I could, hell I'd save it even. The thing is, I feel its my looks that kill everything. That, or I simply have zero luck with guys, or its the guys in my general vicinity.

Sure I don't think highly of myself some days, but most often I feel I am a good person.

The thing is, I value myself and I think I know my worth, and I won't accept anything less than what I believe I deserve. Though, the guys I am into, don't like me it seems.

I don't think I'm bad looking, so not really. When I see an attractive guy my main concern is making sure my thirst isn't showing.

It depends on the person I'm looking at but I generally think every person I check out is out of my league and way prettier than i am so yes I do wish I sort of look like them. And if they are talking to me I suddenly become very aware of all the things I'm insecure of all at once.

It's weird, I've never seen myself as anything other than entirely average-looking, but seeing an especially attractive person doesn't elicit lustful or envious feelings -- it's more like... I kind of view them as living art? I usually just want to stare and be all "lawd, how can a human look so good??"

Also I'm getting two wisdom teeth out tomorrow and it's terrifying. I have serious "white coat syndrome" and tend to pass out in doctor's offices (even during my consultation, I almost fainted). Major fear of needles, and have never been under anesthesia before.

Already told my husband that if he records my drug-induced babbling nonsense after surgery and puts some embarrassing video on instagram that I'll draw up divorce papers.

queen that shit is a breeze. I had all 4 removed a while back and it was nothing. they literally didn't even give me a scrip for pain meds or anything - Advil was more than enough. also, there was no drug induced babbling or anything like you see on youtube. I was just really sleepy afterwards.

just be sure to have lots of yogurt and broth-y soup and other soft shit on hand and you'll be fine <3

It won't be as bad during/afterwards as it seems it will be.

I got two wisdom teeth out with just some local anaesthetic, and not enough of it. They added more halfway through since they realised it wasn't enough. There was a short time afterwards when I was the grumpiest person from the pain between the anaesthetic wearing off and the painkillers starting to work but it was like 15 minutes, and from then on it wasn't so bad.

Here is screenshot from a bakery I took from the new professor layton game.

I don't. It sounds more like gender stuff than sexuality stuff. Are you sexually attracted to the women you called attractive?

I misremembered and it's actually a liquor and beer bust. For a set price ($5 if you're in your underwear on that night), you can drink all the beer and cocktails you would like during a set time period. Bottomless cocktails, essentially.

whoa

do lots of people show up in their undies?

Sooo dating apps, a mixed bag for many... I wonder if it's even worth it to try them. I only ever used Okcupid and POF for a very short time.

I've yet to meet a couple that says "yeah we met on Tinder!" or anyone in close proximity that I know of.

I've met 2 of my exes using social media, and another ex through a video game. It's just another resource you have to meet more people, you can still continue to network and/or go to bars/classes/discos/gloryholes/gay events etc.
Yes, it's a mixed bag. You can't learn from experiences you are not having.
Wtf, guess I should refresh my browser instead of responding (new page).

My boyfriend is into games and boardgames, had a lot of fun just playing shit with him. I really dig that my bf is into that, then we talk about stuff related to that media.

I had my top two wisdom teeth out and it was a breeze. I only took one dose of my pain medication when I got home, and after that I didn't take anymore. Little to no discomfort honestly. I think my biggest gripe was they didn't give me enough packing gauze, which made my mouth a watery bloody seeping mess. I had to go buy more, but outside of that, no problems.

You'll be fine! Goodluck!

when you going to start hosting at your place.

Probably when I get a base for my bed and more stuff because it looks kinda empty and sketchy, lol.

But no, I am not looking forward to hosting at my place because there's a reception area you have to go through and people would see... I don't want to become known as that guy, lol

Also, gotta be more fit (y)

So basically this post is essentially useless, thanks for reading.

Well since you gave a descriptive scenario, I say flip it and stick it, throw him and blow him, or set him on fire. Thats my advice for you. Best of luck!

and if all else fails, love him long time, or remove him from your life.

don't follow my advice, never follow my advice.
