I hate spiders but Rom will not attack you until you attack it. So being the one who actually initiates it instead of just being in the area for combat made me feel a lil bad for killing it.

you really can't top Sif. i just replayed DS1 and was so sad for that part. the way they have him hobbling towards the end of the battle. so sad. its an amazing achievement when you think about it.

Bosses? Make it singular.

The Boss - MGS3
This. I let it sit on the zoom out for a rather long time, hoping it wouldn't make me pull the trigger.
Edge's Parents
Final Fantasy IV

Aaand this. As a kid, when this happened, it made me hate Lugae and actually like Rubicante because he was respectful of the whole situation. The honorable knight among knaves.

I could also say this about at least a few bosses from No More Heroes and NMH2. Some of them were vile people, but some of them weren't and just a victim of their circumstance, right down to Travis feeling the same way. Especially Jeane.

Oh my god Jeane.

All the Gods in GoW3. Not them directly but for all the innocent people that are now dead due to some dumbass who made dumb decisions all his life (Kratos).

Crota in Destiny on Heroic difficulty for the first few weeks.

Every group I got into wanted to do the glitch where the host removed his/her lan cable so that Crota didn't ever move :/

Penelope. What the hell, she wasn't even a villain. All she wanted was to spend more time with her boyfriend. But her boyfriend that asshole Bentley chose his friend over his girlfriend, who by the way ignore every demand Bentley makes. And after Penelope complains, Bentley beat the shit out of her. Yeah domestic violence.

Link's Awakening.

By killing him you awaken the wind fish which in turn destroys his island, and every living thing that was on it.

Including Her...

The last thing he says before he dies:

"This island is going to disappear.

Our world is going to disappear.

Our world...

Our...

world..."

Kiiiinda the bosses from FF Tactics Advance. After each esper or whatever they're called dies, you realize little by little that Marche is being a douche.

Came here looking for this.
I felt no remorse and pulled that trigger with pleasure as soon as I realized what was happening. Fuck that fight.
You
FELT no remorse for the women that was sacrificing herself for her country and child? Yikes

The Boss in MGS3 and Sniper Wolf in MGS1 are great picks. Those would be my top 2. Shadow of the Colossus is also a solid choice , given how the game ended.

Haven't seen anyone mention the robot at the end of Wolfenstein: The New Order. Being that it is controlled by
the tortured brain of whoever you picked to sacrifice at the beginning
it was kind of sad.

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
The Boss from MGS3. I put the controller down for approx 5 minutes to compose myself before pressing the trigger.

My friend gives me shit to this day about that. Sometimes a fight just digs a nerve too deep and you put your emotions in a small box in a dark corner.

When you stop and think. Most of the creatures in BB which are not human are often the ones being attacked.

Wetnurse Mergo is literally guarding a newborn, The witches are wandering around, the guardian is sleeping until you come, Ebrieteas is am encaged being, the brain is unable to move and attack you he is being controlled and cant fight back.

You are a hunter, it's your job to be the one attacking first and I love this and also hate it.
